That new manager Bob at the Rock Stop sucks. He's going to drive away all the employees and drive out all the regular customers that spend their hard-earned money there. He needs to go back to managing kids, not corporate money!

The ones I know of right off hand are Pearl, Gina and Bob. I also knew Patty, but she was the owner and sold it and she's not there any more. But Pearl, Gina and Bob are always there. Don't kow much about Bob, he's there sometimes but always at the computer. Pearl and Gina are my favorites, but there's also another girl there who is always really nice.

Bob sucks! We used to go in there after a hard day's work and those girls made us feel so much at home. Then Bob came along and turned them into military robots and its not as homey there. I will spend my hard earned money where I am most welcome and its not at Bobs!

Too bad the new 'group' of owners aren't as nice as the last ones! They don't like cats and Bob wants the colony that has been there for years 'removed' All altered and vaccinated they certainly pose no health risks so what's the problem? Guess since cats don't spend any money they don't want their business of free rodent control? They won't get mine anymore either! Nice, friendly, christian business ya got going on!

What?!? The cats have to go? Why?!? What's with that!!? It just seems so mean, just wrong. If the cats go, so do I. Remind me to get my cappuccino in Eldora. Or wait till I can get to Casey's in Wellsburg.

Here is another business that has gone to pot after the Meints' family ran and owned the Rock Stop. Just like the Green Door, Dee ran the place like a charm and was very sucessfull. Dee definitely worked hard and knew how to run a business!!

Hey,at least there's a place to put in gas in that town. I remember when there were three places in town to fuel up; Stupp's DX, Keith's Standard and Struck's Service Station. Being an infrequent visitor to SR, it's nice to know that you can count on seeing the "regulars" having coffee every time I visit at the Rock Stop. Yes, Dee will always be remembered as a hard working business person and and made the most awesome twice-baked potatoes ever!

Yah well Bob is very discrimanating. Some workers can leave a rag out and its fine when other workers leave it out they get in trouble. Some people can have there money drawer off by more than 5$ and its okay when if another person has it off by 1$ they get in trouble. Yah Bob this is a small town and we all do actually notice that you play favorites. Makes a guy wonder if you have some workers do extra special favors for you in the back and thats why they don't get in trouble! Or maybe your just a piece of s*&%.

Wow I see Steamboat hasn't changed much. Still that nice little hotspot of meanness and back biting.

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Taurus

The current planetary influences tend to make everyone groan a bit. Life is not perfect and may be less pleasant than usual, but what can you do? Get real for one thing! That's the way it is and once you accept this, everything becomes much easier to handle. Be solid and dutiful - qualities for which the Bull is renowned - and you'll come out the other side with your halo polished. Focus on some undeveloped potential in your life and take the first steps towards realising it.
