Stopped by here yesterday because I had a few minutes to kill before meeting someone and I had heard that they had a good collection of beers ("50 Beers" they advertise.) I looked over the menu of beers and while it may have 50, 25 or 30 of them are mass market mega brews, nothing to write home about. Of the 10 or 12 taps, only two were craft beers, our local Minnehaha ale from Lagniappe Brewing and an unidentified Tripel from Oregon. The bartender couldn't tell me who made it. In the bottle selection there were maybe 6 craft beers, another 4 or 5 "mega craft" like Sam Adams or Euro-lagers like Stella. Glassware is all iced tea style "service" glasses.

Noise: Loud hard-edge rap making me have to yell at the bartender seated two stools away. The place was totally empty with two guys playing pool, no need to have it that loud all the time.

This is a full smoking location with an ashtray for every barstool. I am not sure I would want to be here on a busy night as it doesn't appear to have the best airflow as the bartenders smoking was lingering around.

Verdict: OK, but certainly not a "beer bar".
