The Quapaw city sewer system cannot meet the current needs of the city. How can they expect to add on all of these new homes that are a mile out of the city limits to a failing system? I guess our water and sewer bills, which are already higher that the average of the surrounding communities, are going up again!

Does everyone know that the north section of that land is undermined as bad or worse than anything in Picher and everytime it rains, orange, acid water oozes up of the ground there? There are several mine shafts, chat piles and a dump to the east, along with some old Indian cemeteries. The west side is filling up with a few new homes, but mostly filthy trailers. It concerns me that the City of Quapaw is pushing so hard to people to move into the middle of that. I can see it now in the Joplin Globe, "New Superfund Site-Blue Stem Park Subdivision, Quapaw, OK". If you are buying there, I would seriously suggest the south end!

I am out there daily on that piece of land and there are no "filthy trailers" out there, there are no mine shafts and if there is a dump on that piece of land, I would like to see it cause I never have. No orange liquid oozes out of the ground, get a life. If you are going to say something, say something intelligent and factual. Don't just make stuff up and make yourself sound like an idiot... you're just pissed that the guy doing all of th work is going to make out like a bandit and you're not. After he is done, he doesn't have to maintain the roads or anything, it's just all money. Sounds like a hell of a deal to me.

Well, Bob, since you are out there daily, maybe you should drive down E57 road and count the 7 trailers that are there. Then, turn left and travel down 620 road, all the way to where it meets E50. If you look to your right, you will see a creek that is BRIGHT ORANGE crossing under the bridge. It does not originate on the land in question, but does flow through there. If you get out of your car and walk over the hill you will see some groundwater testing equipment sticking out of the ground. This is where the acid mine water "oozes" out of the ground after a heavy rain. Then, drive around the section and travel north on N4625 road and to the right you will see a large, chat covered area, with trash strung out everywhere. You know, since you are out there so much, right past the cemetary and just across the low water bridge. I could care less if that guy makes money or not but judging by your reply, you obviously have some stake in it. I would just hate to see someone unknowingly move into that. The houses look really nice from the road, especially since the State of Oklahoma shut down their unlicensed contractors and made them obide by the law. If anyone out there is reading this, please do not take my word for it, or Bobs. Just dirve out there and look for yourself. You will see who is speaking "factually." It is not hard to see. I am sure that Bob will let you take a look around.

Sounds like 'Bob' was some financial interest in this! It was suppose to be against the law and buyout rules to take things with out such as 'central heat & air units, kitchen cabinets, other' but the con artist of Ottawa county get away with taking the ENTIRE HOME! Some people getting rich off this and that normally would be 'OK' but I can't seem to understand why a Picher 'buy out' person can't take or remove those things from the contaminated property BUT another can just take the entire house and EVERY thing thats there and move it 10 miles away and have someone else live in and thats FINE or OK. It makes no sense to me. I wonder if 'Bob' isn't really Bob Crawford, their know for conartist jobs like this.

Gred lives in the Picher area, and has for years. The officials pockets must be lined in gold by now
