I worked on submarines in Maine, at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard,(PNSY), after high school in Portsmouth , New Hampshire. I was wondering if the Cheryl McGuiness in the story about the USS New Hampshire was someone I know. Are there any photos or videos of her christening the new sub? I haven't been back since the 70's from Seattle area.

My grandfather was raised in Derby, Connecticut. His mother was a good friend of 'General Tom Thumb'. The Gregory family was there in the 1600s-his brother was the noted legal scholar Charles Gregory of the University of Chicago and the University of Virginia.
