Hello all. My wife and I have a 15 month old baby and we are considering moving to a house in Grosse Pointe Shores. We love the area, especially the quality of the schools and parks and low crime rates. However, the home we really love is right on Vernier Rd. a couple blocks from Lakeshore Dr. Vernier goes down to a two lane road in front of the house and it is a 30 MPH speed limit. There is a gate at the top of the driveway, but we are still a little concerned with raising a child on a main road. Does anyone have experience with raising a child on Vernier or a similar main road? Thanks!
