Good Morning All,

I am not sure who on the boards here are Riverdale residents, but we need to get Rick Scoggins out of office! He continues to cause trouble and raise frivolous lawsuits in order to stop any progress made around the city.

http://news-daily.com/main.asp...

Please go out and vote on November 3rd, 2009. I also believe early voting has started.

Thanks!

Progressives are closely associated with the Communist/Socialist Parties, you ought to research some facts before you spew about on this forum.

LOL!!!! FEAR, FEAR, FEAR...Fear this and fear that...How are progressives closely associated with the Communist/Socialist parties?!?!...LOL...
If anything Progressives are independent of any party...with ideals stemming from conservative and liberal policies. I think it is you who should stop spewing FEAR not backed by any intelligent dialogue...you conservatives are all the same. Raise concern or Fear, but with no healthy dialogue backing accusations...

Ok Sir, heres some fear that is supported and aggressivly promoted by your Progressive Party and your Socialist Comrades, that being Income Redistribution, you know your issue of "Spread the Wealth",I and alot of other people have earned our money honestly and devoted time to our endeavors, You/Your Party wishes to take that away and divide it among your "Comrades", one only has to google "Progressive Party" to find the facts and certainly you are a strong supporter of Trade Unions, the likes of SEIU, and of course ACORN are'nt you.

I am personally not for Trade Unions...but Trade Unions are a result of "BIG BUSINESS" and capitalism in the United States...and a high majority of big business CEO'S lean towards conservative views.

Trade Unions are a direct reflection of cutting costs in business in order for businesses to make more profit - point blank. It is fundamentally cheaper for businesses to outsource to third world countries than hire qualified American workers at honest pay rates and benefits. That keeps more money in the pockets of the Big Business CEO's who don't want to share or spread their wealth.

Let's face it, "BIG BUSINESS" and capitalism don't really want people to go back or to college, get more experience and skills, because that would mean that they would have to pay workers more based on their qualifications. Which in turn would be as you put it, "Spreading the Wealth".

So let me get this straight, It's because of "Big Business" and "Capitalism" that you want my finances to spread around to your "Comrade" friends and create all of you social programs that keep you and yours in office, sorry the US is a capitalistic society, if this forlorns you, why not you take Clayton County down to Cuba or such? Old "Fidel" will be waiting for you with "open arms". You Sir are a better campaigner for Scoggins than his self as to why he should be left in office.

Honestly Harley...I am debating with you for the sake of debating, but your messages are extremely difficult to decipher what point you are coming from or trying to make clear.
You Sir, are the one who pointed out Trade Unions...I was simply explaining why Trade Unions became popular for "Big Business" and capitalism.

But, I am sure that if you have your own business, that you hire all qualified legal American citizens and pay them according to their skills, education and knowledge with benefits???? I am sure that you take no shortcuts and outsource these jobs to increase your bottom line????

You are right we do live in a capitalist country...I mean hey I have no qualms with that...I have my education, knowledge, skills and experience to be successful regardless.

On the one hand, you make the point that you are for capitalism, but it comes off as only when it benefits you. That is not how it works. Capitalism is constant and when there is a change in technology and ideas, the best and most effecient company wins.

This very fact is the reason why council member Rick Scoggins will be kicked out of Riverdale's council as he continues to try to stop capitalism from taking his piece of the pie in Riverdale. His old ideas of trying to make money off selling run down land and buildings in Riverdale is coming to a hault by "Bigger Business" and demographics that demand higher quality/upscale business that he has no affiliation with and honestly can't make any money off of.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Capricorn

Take things slowly and all will be well. However, you must resist a tendency to be perfectionist over things that don't really matter, otherwise you'll never finish the chores. If you're busy with Christmas preparations, you'll have to control a nagging feeling that you've got to compete with the way other people have done things in the past.
