So many statements I have read on here and so many from people who have no idea of what it is really like. For instance:

a. Best medical care known to man: This person hasn't the least idea of what medical attention they are getting--no it is definitely not the best and sometimes very hard to even get any. When they do get medical care they are charged.

b. Family isn't paying to house them. Maybe not to house them, but many are sending money for food because of the inadequate food they are getting and yes in New Mexico. Many families are paying for college courses to be taken by mail so the person will have a better chance to succeed after prison and since there is very little education available at many prisons.

c. If locked up in prison means they are guilty. No, it does not. If so, why are some sometimes being found not guilt by DNA, etc and being released.

Many, many families are now being touched by prison. Those that are showing no feeling may some day hear their own words coming back to them when it becomes their own families--many of you today making those comments will someday see that it can happen to your family. We all feel so smug and far above this world, but we can all be knocked down off that pedestal so high.
