Greenwood woman killed in I-55 accident
A Greenwood woman died Thursday after colliding with an 18-wheeler on Interstate 55 in Holmes County.
Angela Rimmer was traveling south at 7 p.m. Thursday near the 143-mile marker three miles west of Pickens when the accident happened, said Sgt. Ben Williams, public information officer for the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
Plans are to have the visitation and funeral Monday at Wilson and Knight Funeral Home, 910 HWY 82 West, Greenwood, MS 38930. The visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. The funeral will be held at 11:00 A.M.
