Elysa's latet ad in he Greenwood Tabloid says among othr false promises that she will restore checks and balances to City Hall.
Ms. Turner, can you tell me where Wilma Jo Cabe fell down on her job, where you think she did not protect the city, where she was sloppy in her work, where she did not think of the people first and protect them?

Elysa Turner, you are no Wilma Jo Cabe. I took it that she was referring to the fact that the current clerk is having to do two jobs until the election. I didn't take it that she was talking about Wilma. You would have to look for a long time to find a City Clerk as good as she was. She set the bar pretty high plus I don't know anyone that didn't like Woman.

The council agreed back in May of 2012 that Sharla wasn't going to do two jobs, she was to concentrate on the City Clerk position, that is a mute point. I take it as she finds something wrong in the way Wilma ran the City Clerk office. I agree with you, You would have to look for a long time to find a City Clerk as good as she was. Elisa also said she had no political, which is another lie. Her husband is on the School Board, he is also a Fireman who is very close to Stewart Bryan, the Fire Chief, who is very political.
