Paying for sex is illegal when it is a street hooker and a lonely john so why can millionaires pay women for sex and get away with it? This is another case of the rich getting away with anything they want in Greenwich. He offers to pay these women in emails and police had these emails so why is he out walking the streets? Pull this guy out of his plush gated home in front of his children and teach him and all the other rich guys that think they can treat women like toys and can flout the law a lesson.

This guy is his own worst enemy! No matter how much they prosecute the people extorting him, he's already proved he isn't going to change his behavior! The police will eventually tire of "saving" him, his wife will not be so tolerant and he when he keeps this up he will probably end up prosecuted. You know what they say... a fool and his money! I just feel for his family. How humiliating.

If prostitution were legal, then the ability to extort money from johns would all but disappear. Sounds more like Mr. Dent needs a l o n g stint at the Sexaholic clinic Michael Douglas and David Duchovny attended.

The town's and nation's educator of the year cannot live in Greenwich because affordable housing would bring the riff raff into town. I"m glad that back country and shoreline citizens like this guy, along with the Madoff's, AIG-ers, the Skakels, Helmesley's, etc. help uphold the standards of town (and beach pass) citizenship through which residents have become spoiled by.

and furthermore, if he keeps this up, he'll like-as-not end up DEAD. just recently a man was kidnapped in the SFBayArea after meeting a woman on-line. she and her two male accomplices proceeded to pistol whip and otherwise abuse the hapless individual until he agreed to give them his PIN number - after which they beat him further and left him nekkid and for dead at a local reservoir.

This guy has to be nuts to get ripped off by a hooker. He sure got a royal screwing. He must be desperate and his wife has to be crazy for sticking with him. I guess money talks. He should be ashamed to show his face in public.

There is nothing wrong for people to exchange money for sex. The only problems with prostitution come from people being forced to have sex for money by someone else.

The disturbing part of this article is that someone was given a 16 months in prison for a crime that did not affect more than the one person who was already doing an illegal activity. Now the taxpayers have to spend upwards of 80K to care for this person and there will be no real benefit from it. It would have been better to 'house arrest' both of them for their crimes - those little ankle bracelets work wonders for reminding people that what they did was bad without costing taxpayers a lot of money.

Why was the owner of the website let off the hook so easily by Debra Friedman. David Wey is a "maadam" read the profiles of the parties "prostitutes" most all of them talk about sexual encounters for money.

The paper is persecuting Dent and not making issue of the existences of open advertisements for prostitution.

As a man we are constantly giving our lady friends gets whether it money or presents and guess what we end up getting lucky that night. Whats the difference? I guess we should publicly persecute all men in a relationship that get lucky after giving a gift to a women.

As a woman I agree. My husband always gets lucky after I get a gift. By the way today on Mother's Day I recieved a gift that I asked for. Guess what? He'll be a happy man.(lol)Does that make me a hooker?

Who are these people? They make such a big freakin deal out of S E X. It's pretty pathetic that Dent had to pay exorbitant fees for his "feel good", had to arrange liasons when his (probably hard-working) wife was away, and that these young strumpets took such gross advantage of them!
