My husband stopped to help, and is also wondering how she is doing. Did you actually witness it? What did you see happen?

Yes I followed them from Orting. There was two jeeps in front of us. The front jeep was turnig left to go up hill to bonney lake so the other jeep stopped as a group of on comming bike passed. The bike in frpnt of me didn't see the jeep stop until it was to late he skidded sideways the hit the gaurd rail and flipped the bike. The lady on the back went head first into the rail post hit so hard it knocked her helmet off. me and lady in the jeep both called 911 as I ran up to the husband all I could do was pray at that point and calm him down luckly another biker stopped who was a emt because we had to move her on to her side. Hats off to the ambulance they were there within a few min. She was breathing when they loaded her. My prayers go out to her husband and family and also to the young girl in the passenger side of the jeep who had to watch. My son is 8 I made him stay on the bike and look the other way. I haven't seen anything like that since Desert Storm feb 25 1991

My family and I were at the park at the time of the accident; I came up and helped direct traffic for the arrival of the emergency team. We are so very sorry for your loss; our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. Thank you so much to the paramedic on the motorcycle that was there to help.

We all need to appreciate each and every day and remember how precious our time here is.

God bless!

Yah the emt was awesome I felt real inadequate with my first aid card. My hats off to him I am putting a first aid kit on my bike I don't know why I never have. I am also getting rid of the little joke I call a helmet and buying a real one.The man hit hard too and his helmet probably saved him. She just hit the rail the wrong way and there wasn't anything we could really do but pray for a miracle. Now I just pray for a miracle for him to be able to forgive himself and be strong for his family. I have never felt more sorry for any man in my life time EVER!!

I wear a novelty helmet but have ordered a new carbon fiber DOT approved helmet. For those who prefer a small helmet, this is the answer. They aren't cheap but what's a life worth...
The website is www.carbonfiberhelmets.com
Please keep this family in your prayers. This was a horrible loss.
To anyone interested, there is a nice benefit ride the 19th of next month for 2 local charities. If you are interested, you can email me at madderson@q.com.
Thank you.

What a tragedy. I'm trying to find out where and when a service will be held for the woman. Does anyone know her last name or any details?

We were riding west Sunday, and saw only the after math of the accident. As we approached my skin just crawled and shivers went through my body. I am so sorry to hear that this was indeed a tragic accident. I,also, hope the survivor will forgive himself for this accident. Our prayers and thoughts are with the family. Words can not make the husband feel any better, but I hope the prayers and thoughts from everyone is of some comfort.

Friend:
Please express my deepest sympathy for the husband and family of the young lady that passed.
Let him find comfort, as I do, in the fact that ALL of us were praying, not just me. That Jesus was there, holding her hand while she was fighting, and there with open arms when she lost her battle.
I am so sorry we lost.

I was part of the motorcycle group heading the opposite direction. I think it is safe for me to say on the behalf of all of us that our hearts go out to all involved.
I wonder if I might ask a very delicate question -- would it be appropriate if some of us who might be in town came to the service?

I think all the support the family can get is great. I think anyone wanting to go would have nothing but good intentions.
Thank you for your support.

My prayers are with the family. I guess a rider in one of our groups was the emt that stopped. Life is so fleeting. Ride safe everyone.

i am amazed that there wasn't anything on the news as well. well i can see that maybe the family would rather not see it on t.v. and not have to hear about it you know? Bill are you going to be at her service?? i am planning on attending.

Daily Horoscope for January 8

Scorpio

Self-worship is easy and obvious, today. The real prize is when you turn from the mirror to see that others think just as highly of you. Take in all this love and amazement, and store some away for lean times in the future. Someone may give you an unexpected compliment later in the day, but don't let them know that it caught you off guard. After all, you still have your reputation as an egomaniac to uphold!
