I went in the new store in greenville Saturday night. I was amazed that we even had a store in greenville like this. They had all kinds of nice gifts and baby clothes. Very impressive, and way to go for the women that started it. They said they just woke up one day and decided to start a new store and four weeks later here they are. If you are in greenville, you must go in you will never believe it.

There is only one market and co. on the block across from the court house. It is called the Market and CO...On Main..carrying all new and upscale home decor and gifts and the Other by Houchins is Market and Co.. which carrys new and used home decor. The Market and CO....On Main store at the other end of the block is Vintage on Main and is in no way connected to the Market and Co. It is owned and operator by someone else.

You are correct the Market and CO...On Main is in no way connected to Vintage on Main.. I think that Donna Doss owns Vintage and Sabrina and Vicki Slinker and Peggy Steele own the Market and Co. on Main.

In my earlier post I worded a sentence wrong. I meant to say that the Market and Co..on main is on one end of the block and Vintage on main is at the other. They are ran by different owners and are not connected at all.

well she is Sabrina Scott now and her mother Vicki Slinker. They owned the Flower Petal in Central City for years. They are two of the owners of the Market and Co. on Main.

I have been to this store, and it is pretty nice. The building is very nicely decorated and painted. It is nice to see Greenville welcome such a nice place into their small town. I think the prices are a little steep, but if you consider having to drive way out of town to buy similar items, then it's really not that bad. Sabrina and Vicki are wonderful people and are super nice. Im just really not sure why they would want to be associated with the Market N Co. Doesnt make much sense considering THEIR track record.

No, Donna's store is open and better than ever. Seems that the folks from The Screen Door in Central City have went in with her along with Helen Bowles who owns the little shop on the way to the flea market.

yes, we have put some of our items in the main street vintage with donna doss. she and helen are good friends of ours and we all help to promote eachothers stores. which is how it should be. thanks to everyone who shops at our stores and make it a success.

There is a wide variety of prices ranges at the Market Co. on main.. i think they did great with working with several different prices ranges. Donna Doss's store is looking good, and their store is filling up quickly. Haven't been in the screen down yet but will have to go and check it out.I agree completely with them all store should help each other. Sabrina and Vicki are very nice people and you can see that they have put there special touches in the store, and they have a very good track record. I think vicki had the florist open for over 20 years and decide to close and expand to several other store across Ky. So I don't really think you can basis that opion just on the market and co at houchins. Because Vicki and Sabrina both are great with customers and willing to help someone in a heartbeat. I know them both from being at the florist and I am not even a close friend but know that they both have good business sense.

Been there and bought something for my husband. They do have a small room just for men, huntinig, fishing, fireman, and police. I think they said there would be lots of mens gifts coming in for christmas.

I loved the market on main store. I I'll always be cautious though because I was in Russellville that morning at the Mighty Dollar and saw SEVERAL of the same items. Everything is a dollar in Russellville. Some items had a reasonable markup ( 2.50 or 3) but some were $7-$10.

Yes the Mighty Dollar in Russellville has some of the same stuff. There is also one in Bowling Green that is bigger. I also seen some of the same things in the Market on Main. They have quite the mark up.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Aries

There's a lot of tension in the air, with certain people poised to spit the dummy, as Mars turns retrograde in your fifth house of romance, children and speculation. Confrontations are likely. If these are nothing to do with you and you just happen to be directly in the firing line, your best bet is to make yourself scarce. But if you are responsible for their outraged feelings then you need to face the music, otherwise things will only get worse.
