If only this was a true representation of our democratic process! I don't know about you'all. But, I have voted many times today for the same candidate. If you have a little or a lot of time in your hands you too can vote many and I do mean many times for the candidate you want people to think is going to be the winner in OUR primary this coming May. By all means go ahead and vote as many times as you like-NOW you too can manipulate the numbers as I have.

I agree, I dont think Eddy could ever get 20 percent of the vote in any election that was 3 way.
Heads up he gets 20% at the most. I really doubt Eddy getting 1000 votes total in heads up election.

I go to several different coffee shops and I know of one guy at CC who says he will vote for him. One at Greenville that will not say one way or the other.
Everyone else says Curtis or Jerry.

This is to dofus, your name suits you very well, I know Curtis Mcghee personally I and I find it very insulting that you think there is something wrong with him because he believes that God has a purpose for his life. I would love to be mean to you but I can't see myself doing that to someone with mental capacity of 5 year old.

what qualifications does a minister have to be the lead law enforcement official in this or any county? The same as a former coal miner, the same as a farmer, the same as a local business person. Not saying anything good or bad about the candidates but does anyone besides me think that the state needs to change the quals for the sheriff besides age and no felony record.

I think the state needs to change it. It would be a lot better to have a sheriff that has either had experience in law enforcement or has a degree in criminal justice. Otherwise, how will he be able to handle his job and how good would he be at said job? Actually I change that, I think a sheriff should have both experience in law enforcement and a degree in CJ.

Maybe as high as a bachelors in CJ, afterall most officers are now required to have at least an associates; so why shouldn't a sheriff be required??
