tiny wrote: I like to have braces for my kids to but i have to go earn it so my taxes can pay for yours Good point. Congressman/Dr. Ron Paul never turned away a patient. Yet he never accepted Medicaid or Medicare. He and his partner in medicine still managed to make a good living. Now that Ron Paul is running for President, and knows how to fix health care system, why not support him? Do you know that Ron Paul has never taken his congressional salary, and refuses to rob tax-payers by taking his congressional pension. He, and ONLY he, is truly a PUBLIC SERVANT!!! Meanwhile, Obama, Pelosi, Reid, etc… feel entitled to jet around the world and take luxurious vacations at tax-payer expense. They all have more income than Ron Paul, and have never served anyone but themselves!

Thatmommy wrote: You should think before ypu post. Many people who receive medicaid for their children also work and pay taxes such as myself. I work as a correctional officrr for the N.C DOC and my two kids receive childern's medicaid. You are a liar. If your children receive Medicaid, it is because you have willfully refused to insure them. Corrections officers in NC qualify for State Health Care Plan and Dependent coverage!

I've seen some really negative comments and posts about us needing to work to pay for our childrens dental problems. Here is my point... none of you know anyones financial situation so who are you to say anything at all to us? I am a single mother of 3 with dead beat dads.... so if u want to help find them and make them pay then go right ahead otherwise it can keep coming from the state. I bet every person on here who said something negative just so happens to be "christian" right. Ha! Only god can judge me!:)

May I genlty ask why you don't choose wisely before you create children? Why would you CHOOSE to have children with not one, not two, but THREE losers? You need to make better decisions. You are NOT a responsible person.

I live in Ft. Myers & need to find a Orthodontist that accepts Medicaid. My child is 14 and is in dire need of braces. When I did have a job, I had insurance and paid for my daughters braces, but times have changed and I need a little help this time. It can be in the Cape Coral, Ft.Myers, Naples area, I will drive to wherever I have to. Thanks so much for any help!

My mom just got out f the military, an I had my braces on while she was in, now that she's out, no one will see me because they didnt put them on, now theyre falling apart and the wire is scraping my cheek, and I keep trying to fix it myself, but I haven't had luck. It really sucks, and no one has said anything about helping me yet.

You should pay for it like I had to, and don't make the taxpayer pay for it. We are already paying for the Wall Street bailout. you are so rude people need help. So I guess you have all the money In the world think about if it was the other way around.(JACKASS)

So, are you doing the hiring?...huh?, er, no you are not?! Then shut the hell up and pray to God you don't lose YOUR job and get left having to pander out requests for help! People like you just don't have a clue...oh, but I am sure, in time, that you will, and unfortunately, one of us "good for nothing, why don't we just get a job, humble-pie devouring scum" will probably be the one's helping YOU figure out where to get the assistance YOU need!

FYI- I am an insurance specialist for the state of Utah. People hear the word Medicaid and think," lazy free loader" The truth is that 80% of people on Medicaid are working. But, it isn't free, it is set up like an HMO. They have deductibles and co- pays. What many don't know....... these people also pay a monthly premium based on their income. At this time it is estimated that 20% of these people are on it because employment stopped offering it.

Medicaid won't pay for braces but there are some places that will work with you to pay for them. I think there might be a program that rates the severity of the case and pays for the braces but I think you'd have to call your case worker to find out the procedure for applying.

Corpus Christi, TX

Hi I'm Kelly and I'm 16 year old girl.I am adopted so as part of my adoption agreement when I was 11, St. Francis Academy in Kansas gave me medicade for any state. My adoptive Dad is a hard working tax payer who works over 14 hours a day just to support our family and all the other government funded entities. I really hate to smile because I'm embarrassed of my overbite. I have really big teeth and they are all crouded in my mouth. If anyone knows of a dental office in Corpus Christi Texas that will take medicaid as a payment for braces or retainers, that'd be great!!!!!!!
