Woman Charged in Cyclist's Death Was Driving with Revoked Licen...

I am APPALLED! A son, husband, brother, father, and cyclist is dead and the best fox8 can do is report on unlicensed drivers? Are you totally insane? This man is still dead regardless of the status of the drivers' license. This woman killed a man and drove away with more more concern than had she run over an animal. I would not be surprised to hear if she was texting or on her cell phone! Fox8 and the media-in-general would do a greater public service by reporting on the loss of a life rather than whether or not a murderous driver had a valid license. Shame on you! Oh, and yes I am a son, husband, brother, father AND a cyclist!

really are you serious have you even been watching the news since this happened I mean every day theyve showed this story I do sympathize with all the family and friends this is very tragic but youve got to move on somtimes it sounds to me like your more worried about the fact that he was a cyclist other than a human being you know I find it kind of interesting that she didnt have license and would like to know why and how many times before shes gotten stopped without license and still remained a free woman dont you wanna know all the facts about it or just what you can get out of it as a cyclist if you wanna be mad get mad at the fact that all theyve harped on for 2 weeks is where he worked and not really said to much about the man him self to me thats a greater unjustice than any thing

This story is so sad - this piece of crap woman is still walking around, and that poor guy is dead. I hope she gets the maximum sentence possible, and other people will learn from this..DON'T DRIVE IF YOU DON'T HAVE A License and insurance, and pay attention to what you are doing! GET Off the damn cellphone!!! Keep yourself at home and off the roads if you are an idiot, and a low-life scumbag!!! This piece of crap didn't even stop to help the guy -she thought only about her worthless self.

I believe all the bike riders should show up to court on Dec. 2nd. Standing quitley outside and in the court room in our cycling gear. This may show the Judge and DA that the voters are upset and something may be done to this women.

She realized that a man she hit with her car is dead and she sat at home waiting to see if the police would catch her; now that's rude and unnecessary.

Why is this _itch still walking around a free woman? Her _ss should be under the jail!!! Not only for killing the poor man but for LEAVING THE SCENE OF THE ACCIDENT!!!

Amazingly irresponsible and evil, actually. Oh and er...she's hardly on trial or condemned, and THAT is the tragedy of the whole thing. She should have been punished several years ago. Instead her sorry arse was free to mow down an innocent person and then DRIVE AWAY to sober up before the police got there.

What is amazing about her is her total lack of a SOUL! She is a monster that needs to be in a small cell where she can no longer hurt law-abiding people. She ran over David on Saturday, then was back to driving on Monday even though she has no license. What is stopping her from driving today? She could kill again, maybe she would hit a school bus full of children, would that push the courts to keep her in jail? She went across the road (she was on the wrong side of the road) when she hit/killed David, then she turned around (went back by him laying there) drove home, what kind of "amazing person" can do that? Only a self-absorb, no soul, non-caring thing...she is a monster, she is a murderer, everything she did that day was cold-hearted as well as illegal.

Obviously you missed all the coverage about David Sherman that was done the day of the event and since then. Everything you expect the media to cover was already done. You need to check your facts before making a report of your own.

SAD, Perhaps you could tell us in detail exactly what you think is amazing about her? My opinion is the amazing thing about her is that she left the scene. What kind of person does that?

If you want to vent, don't do it in a public forum. All this does is provide the accused grounds for change of venue. And, if that is denied, grounds for appeal.
Unless you want this kind and amazing man's family to have to drive to Mecklenburg or Laurinburg for trial, remember this: justice delayed is not justice denied. She- and you- will get a day in court.
