3/4 of welfare of woman with children and if the man wants to pay with pennies take them and run with it. Last time checked pennies are US currency.

All coins and bills printed by the US Mint are "legal tender for all debts public and private." They have to accept pennies as payment. If he made an honest attempt to make the payment and they refused to accept it, then his debt is forgiven. I wonder how much 100,000 pennies weighs.

The copper metal alone is worth more than the tender and with some effort perhaps one of those pennies was worth much much more.

It doesn't matter whether he paid using a check, a money order, 10 one hundred bills or pennies if he paid he paid and that should be the end of it. Money is Money no matter what form it is presented!!!!!

sounds like Trump is the one with an attitude problem...why were payments in arrears? It is his kids that he is hurting.

I don't know how Maryland is but in Virginia they treat the non-custodial parent like crap. I know these offices deal with a lot of deadbeats on a daily basis - but they should at least be professional and not treat all non custodial parents like one. After all, their offices are there to objectively serve all parties involved, a fact I think they often forget.

No it's the @s#hole women and the courts who rake the men for these exorbitant amounts of money for childcare. I'm married and both my wife and I don't pay 1500 dollars a month on our child. So why should a devorced husband pay that amount for a child? Is it so the Ex doesn't have to pay anything when she should be responsible for at least half?

I know he only pays 1000 a month but I have a friend who ended up having to pay 1500 a month for one childs support!
