why run the old people out, they deserve a place as well you do. We have work a lot harder than you do, so leave us alone. You little know it all don't know how to respect your elders. You sure don't dererve any hand out like you want. Leave the old people along go fly up and down the road like an idoit

What is terrible about keeping it open? This thread is about keeping it open but just where to stick them at since they are in the way of progress? WSCC is already using the building and plans to fix it up began months ago. If the old folks wanted to say something they didn't. There wasn't ant fuss at all. They knew it was comming and now it is time to get OUT?

Has this been discussed at any mayor-board of aldermen meetings? Are there any meeting minutes available documenting how the decision was made?

The internal affairs of the city have changed by the new charter WT created. You won’t see building use voted on at a mayor aldermen meeting. If WSCC pays the bill for the restoration of the Little Theatre there is no vote at all. There have been new signs going up at the Theatre some saying no guns allowed especially on school property sections. One more sign to go (BYE BYE Roby Center Hello WSCC).People voted the good old boys in and let the change happen all there is to do now is we all should just shut up and let our elected leader do their thing. How many would be effected if the college didn't get the theatre 100's of outsiders joining WSCC every year. What effect on the locals would be move the Bingo game to the building in the projects where more elderly live and could walk to the Roby Bingo games. There has to be a new dress code before that happens because certain parts of town wears short shorts and wife beater T - shirts. Let's work on a dress code and get things moving and moving along making room for the teens to move right -in.

the city owns the building. the decision impacts many citizens and their families, and the organizations that work with senior citizens. where/when has the decision been discussed? where are the minutes? if there was no public discussion or documentation, how was the decision made? and how would anyone know that decision for a fact, beyond the level of topix or town gossip.....was the decision reported in the local newspaper? is the purpose of city govt (whether documented or not) to please the administration of WSCC? I hope not......puzzling indeed....
