It is safe if you take it in the recommended dosage your doctor prescribes for you. You should NEVER take more than 2 37.5mg tab/caps a day. You should monitor your blood pressure and heart rate daily. You should only take for weight loss NOT for energy.

The stuff you buy on the internet is NOT phentermine. Check the spelling....it is ALWAYS spelled wrong which means they can say it is whatever they want to. You should not take phentermine with certain meds or medical conditions either.

You need to keep in mind a few things before seeking this drug.
1. It is very addictive. It is an amphetamine and treats your body just as such. When you do not have it, you have no motivation, energy, and have withdraw symptoms such as headaches, mood disorders, and others.
2. It is not a cheap way to diet. You will spend 80-100$ a month on your prescription and the office visits. Buying a membership to the YMCA and spending more in order to eat better would probably be cheaper.
These are a few things I have experienced with the drug. It does give you energy and if you are motivated to work out and burn fat, this will do it. More commonly than not, people tend to stop trying to lose weight and just keep taking it to get through their day due to the energy it gives you. Which in all actuality is the same thing drug addicts use their stash for. Just be careful is all I am saying. ;)

Also, if it comes to the point of you stopping the usage of the drug, it is hard to keep the weight off. That is why I see it being a far more effective way to lose weight if you will try to get into a nice routine of daily exercise and try to eat better. I personally am working on this myself and it IS NOT EASY. You have to go slowly but keep going. Hope this gives you a bit of insight.

Strange Smoke- You have a very realistic approach to weight loss. That is refreshing to see. You make excellent points about this drug. I have experienced the effects of this drug through several co-workers. Yes you have energy but you can become annoyingly energetic. One co-worker also said that she had the intense desire to smoke while on the pill (she was already a smoker but said it increased her cravings). They both turned into zombies when they quit (not literally Varyag). They did lose weight but afterword they both said they would not do it again. The choice is yours, but I agree with SS that there are healthier and cheaper alternatives.

Well, it makes you want to smoke just like drinking does. It gives you a buzz and makes you overly energetic. Bored smokers do what? Smoke more. Another HUGE downside to this drug is that when your script runs out and you have no more, good luck keeping the weight off. That appetite you didn't have while on phen~, comes back full force. I have heard from MANY and experienced it myself. You start out taking one pill a day, that soon just isn't enough so then you take 2, which some doctors and weight loss places condone. When you are out of them or start running low the anxiety of not having any or enough left hits. I don't know about anyone else, but this sounds more like a hard drug than a "weight loss supplement".
If energy is what people are searching for, look no further than your local vitamin shop. There are specific complexes just for that need. Look into B vitamins and Iron, these and a few others would be key to helping that. I am sure if you were to go to a vitamin shop they could point you in the correct direction.

It does work for a while, but stops working because it's only intended for short periods 1-3 months. I have used it, but have found that the best cheapest way to lose weight & keep it off is lower you calorie intake, walk, & buy some tapes! All 3 of these interventions will cost you less money & will last a lIFETIME, not just month to month! Good luck!

Forget the fast skewed results to lose weight... turn off the t.v.... get your lazy butt off of the sofa and WALK. WALK. WALK. Quit stuffing your face with Soda, Sweets and bread. That's it... there's nothing magic about it.. just takes commitment.

I lost alot of weight on them , however, I hated running out, I think you get to dependant on em, and they can be dangerous. When i finally stopped taking was when i was feeling terrible and had my b/p checked: 189/107 pulse rate was 111. Lucky I diddnt die. Just saying.

Excellent independent film. Not for everyone. But people who are a little off center like me love those types of films.
