Why do all of these posts keep getting deleting? Extremely suspicious!!!!

Maybe the ACLU may be able to help keep our topics from getting removed so easily.

Topix was suppose to be for people to edit a situation as one view it. Everyone does not have the same perception.

A Harmon, I do not know who you are, but I did go on google and find the cached files for the power poles. I have every comment blogged. Also, the non-prophet blog had missing ones but I have about half of those.

I am unsure how I could forward these to you due to anonimity. If you have a suggestion, please advise.

Give me a chance to set up an email. I'm going to do it right now. I will find you somewhere on here if this gets deleted in the next few minutes. Thanks so much. I googled the lasts ones and I can't find them today.

If you have a way without compromising your identity, I would very much love to have them. I think they need to be forwarded to the comptrollers office as well as other places.

Topix has the right to remove material that is deemed to be the following:

any Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, torturous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable

This is straight from Topix terms of service. I didn’t see anything that fell in these guidelines on the last thread. Did you? I have seen Topix remove other threads and frankly I was waiting on them to remove the two previous threads due to the nature of some posts on there. However, I can’t see why the last thread was removed. If this keeps up there are other forums on the topic of Greeneville. Perhaps we should move the discussion elsewhere.

I completely agree. This is rediculous.... I believe you're just asking the right questions.

Well it is strange how certain bloggers get upset when those questions are asked. Kind of makes you wonder why they are so touchy! One would have to believe if there was nothing to all this, certain people would just post answers to the questions and move on. LOL!

A nice person was kind enough to forward all the posts from the last forum that was deleted. I have printed them out and fully intend to send all the information I have to the comptrollers office.

I can't believe that they deleted all the posts on the other one except for mine.

That substation is the key issue I think.

Agreed! I will continue to email the state comptroller also! I hope everyone who is following this will do the same in the interest of our community.

Over the weekend I went out and looked from the substation all the way to the Church with all the poles around it. All I can say is if this is GL&P enginnering they need more training. Everyone needs to go out and look this job over. I drive tusculum blvd. a lot but had never took A close look. It looks like one big mess!!!!

If you are referring to me...I did not get "upset" because you asked the questions. I got annoyed when you said you just wanted answers. If that were true and your only motive, you would go to the source to get your answers. You know as well as I do that no one from GL&PS is going to post figures on something like this. I'm not even "upset" that you're picking at the powers-that-be. I just want you to be honest about your motives. Call it what it is, just like you're "asking" other people to do.

I don’t know if you read on the other thread that was deleted but according to another blogger, an outside engineering firm was hired to route those particular lines. The GLPS scrapped the engineering firm’s route in favor of this way. I just don’t get it but whatever! It seems it’s illegal to ask questions about why things were done a certain way in this town! Or, at least, by this particular company!
BTW, where is the outrage from the people of Forest Hills Drive? I realize there is this thing called eminent domain and I also understand there is a right of way but come on people. The property in that neighborhood has to be significantly devalued. I’m not an expert but I think if I don’t like how it looks any potential property buyer would feel the same. I wonder why no one from that street is saying anything to the newspaper and etc.

If the people on here that know all this information is not going to someone that matters....what good is it complaining about something that is not going to be changed.

The reason I complain is to get someones attention......Don't you see this blog has gotten no ones attention except for the person that had it removed....I understand that people are upset about the increase in rates, for I am also. Someone told me that they are raising the rates again by 11%. Can anyone do something about this......NO....WE NEED OUR ELECTRICITY.....GL&P HAS GREENEVILLE RESIDENTS IN A BAG...THEY RUN A MONOPOLY. what to do...what to do?

I wasn’t only referring to you! Remember Freaking Whining and Light Bulb? Also, I know that no one from GLPS will answer the posts on this forum and I also have enough sense to know if someone did we would have to wonder if it is legitimately someone from the company. However, GLPS can post answers to these questions and in a public way. They never have given the public these figures. It isn’t too much to ask. They have a webpage and it wouldn’t be too hard for them to post the figures and answer these questions there. No one could say the information wasn’t legitimately from the GLPS if it were on their webpage! If they want to give us the information, it can be disseminated to the public very easy.

As far as my agenda, I stand by what I said. I want answers to these questions. That is my motive. Maybe I am calling them out publicly but it is because I want to know! People are calling with questions and getting the same old garbage we always get. How do you know that I haven’t called or know someone who has? Besides that, if they had answered me and I posted it here, who is going to take my word about what they say either way? I believe it was you that said we need to start looking at both sides and I agreed with you. However, how are we ever going to be able to see the opposing view if they don’t come out of the dark and start talking? They can do that if they really want!

Just remember your allegations will affect not only these people but their families as well. And make sure you're doing it for the right reasons, but not for revenge or publicity. Start at the top with the mayor, sounds like she has the over all say. Stay classy!!!!!!

I don’t know Mr. Wykle nor did I ask questions that pertain to him. Since we all know you’ve been following this story, you know that I have stood up against people posting salacious posts about any of the parties involved. I haven’t posted anything that will cause these people pain in their personal lives. I could care less about any of the sordid details and have said that many times! Call me crazy but I simply think our government officials and public owned municipalities have a responsibility to be above board and accountable to the public.

I do wonder about your posts! I can’t imagine that a member of the public (who doesn’t care about this either way) would continue to ridicule other bloggers. Most people who are content to bury their heads in the sand don’t take the time to pester people who are trying to get answers and truth. That’s odd but whatever.

BTW, I find it humorous that you would post for me to “stay classy”. Too bad you can’t go back and read your old posts. If you could, you might rethink that statement and consider taking your own advice.
