Why vote? All candidates are running on both tickets & have no one running opposite them. Why vote? Not to mention all the criminals from state to locals.

Just remember: a vote for a Democrat is a vote for Obama.

Vote a straight Republican ticket.

Seems to me that it is the Republicans who want to spend big locally. The Republicans want to spend 60 million on a new courthoue and 57 million to remodel GA schools. So a vote for Republicans is for big spending and higher taxes right?

If Plum wins it will tell you everything you need to know about Franklin County Republicans (as if you didn't know already)

Obamas plane is to spend ourselves into stimulating the economy so a new court house and a remodled G-A would follow his plan, A democratic plan!

I have been a registered REPUBLICAN since I have registered to vote- 35 years and I vote often. I have never voted a straight republican ticket yet, and don’t plan to.

If you do something like that YOU are not using the GOD’s gift of common sense.
You run the risk of electing a know criminal or at least if in your eyes not a criminal at least one that lacks good JUDGEMENT in committing offences that were in contrast to /violation of the written laws of two states.

Why would you consider it? Just because the other candidate is a Democrat or even that she is Attorney or are there other reasons. Somehow the scales just don’t balance the way you want them
One person has a formal education (at least 4 years of higher education and 2 years of law school) in the judiciary system and court experience.
The other, no formal education above high school (plus the local magistrate courses) but does have firsthand experience with the judicial system in the way of being arrested and be processed within the system.

VOTE using COMMON SENSE here, not party lines or good old boy ideals. I’m just glad I don’t have a dog in this hunt.
If this leaves you wondering - I did vote for McCain!

I realize that this isn't a big election but, what about complete local coverage for school board? I didn't see anything for Chambersburg this year nor have I seen anything for Shippensburg. It would have been nice to know who all the candidates were and why they were running even if some were were unopposed. I know for certain that Shippensburg has 3 candidates in District C running for only 2 seats on the school board yet the Sentinal was the only one who covered it.
