GASD approves full-day kindergarten

After the success of two full-day kindergarten classes in Greencastle-Antrim School District, school board members on Thursday night approved moving to full-day kindergarten next year.

The visit with the dogs needs to be unannounced! An SRO will be money well spent for this district. The principal (current and past) haven't been able to deter the drug problem. The current doesn't have the necessary experience for his position, so at least he has an excuse.

Let's not put the drug problem on the principals, experienced or not. I favor the use of dogs and any other resourse available but the blame more squarely lands in the laps of parents to stop the drug problem.
