Most investments saw minor or negative growth for the period ending 31 March, but investments have been very strong during the second quarter. Whatever losses experienced by the ASP investments during the 1st quarter should have been recouped and then increased rather significantly during Q2.

What about all the state employees who did fake retirements, such as LeAnn Edwards who allegedly had a close personal relationship with the former Head of the Arkansas Department of Human Services Office of Chief Counsel; Ms. Edwards left a $79,000 a year job at Aging and Adult Services, her job was advertised, then Connie Parker at Aging and Adult Services hired her back. Edwards has since slinked over to the Division of Medical Services hoping no one will notice. Is this a case of girlfriends doing favors for girlfriends? It looks that way, while the taxpayers pay for it. This is outrageous. The next person to have a close relationship with the former Head of the Office of Chief Counsel, M. Catherine Lyon got a job as administrator of Adult Protective Services at Aging and Adult Services, but after allegations that she treated men differently, and losing a grievance filed after she terminated a long term male employee she left but not until Herb Sanderson who since has made a quick exit to the AARP as an advocate let her hire her best friend, Carolyn (susie) Singleton. Where is John Selig? What does this man do? Is he supposed to be providing oversight? Do the wrong doers know too much on Selig for him to step in, probably not, but what does one do for a $130,000+ per year salary Mr. Selig. Her is the list of state employees who are double dippers-- http://www.arktimes.com/blogs/arkansasblog/do...

I can't begin to respond to jigsaw-puzzle realities, at least to those you describe. If the questionable is more correctly illegal, one would think that an ethics cmte or perhaps the Mr McDaniel would be the appropriate avenue. Experience tells me, however, that your 3rd-hand information will not take anyone anywhere ... direct evidence becomes a bit more valuable than indirect in cases like the one you suggest.
Regarding the investment issue, even the most ardent Obama-critics cannot deny how wonderful their investments are today (in $ values) compared to anytime in the past 14-16 months Suerte, caballero |

The information regarding the fake retirement is available in the hyperlink provided. I do not doubt that Mr. McDaniel will have a look. A man named Selig is paid to keep a lookout. Perhaps if he did so, the AG could spend his time more productively.
