Mini-black hole is smallest ever but still strong

NASA scientists have identified the smallest black hole ever found -- less than four times the mass of our sun and about the size of a large city.

I wonder if the 'experts' who worried about the possibility of LHC creating a black hole read this article.

As I posted previously, I'd like to see the LHC safety report. I still do.

You do understand that you have to start with the mass of a star first, don't you?, before you can have a black hole.

Real Easy - The Enterprize just travels back in time
to 1968 and gets shot at by a jet fighter plane -
and then meets Agent Gary 7 and saves the world
from nuclear war ( that's what happened to that
missing Saturn V rocket!!!). Remember Spock came
up with that theoretical relation between time and
anti-matter at PSI 2000 and saved the day!!!

Interesting work. The maximum mass for a white drawf is(was) 1.17Ms. The Chandrasekhar limit for a neutro star is 1.44Ms. Now if I could just get a mini black hole contained in a box with a note saying: DO NOT OPEN and send to Washington as a reminder of Valley Forge....Unfortunately my mail picker-upper's curiousity is such that she'd have a peek before she got past the drive and stretch my bike. . . . On second thought, maybe it should go to EXXON to honor their $40 billion 07 profit.
