Only 40 years? He is going to make someone a really nice "girlfriend" in prison. There should be no possibiliy of parole and, he should be kept in jail now until his day of sentencing.

Or perhaps a better punishment would be to put him in a room with family members of young children that have been raped and or sexually abused and let them go at him any way they see fit and then prepare him for his day of sentencing in June.

An animal treats an animal better than some human beings treat other human beings. This is a disgrace.

BULL this man should get life for how he treated this girl. I bet that he promised her and America Dream.. told her all kinds of lies to get her here. I hope that America treats her with open arms and kindness.. NO CHILD should have to be treated in this manner.

Why wasn't he also charged with child abuse, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and anything else the prosecutor could dream up so that he'd stay in jail longer? He's going to get out on parole in about 15 years and he'll still be young enough to do this to some other little girl! I hope he has to register as a sex offender!

He has to register as a sex offender. And I never thought about him being charged with child abuse. That is a good catch!
