Daniel "Big D" Hampton is a very violent person. He was always beating Faye and cussing her. I beleave he shot her when they got in a arguement and this is why. Daniel would never let her around the guns cause he was afraid that she would kill him. He didnt even have her on his life insurance policy. Just his kids and his mother. He did it he just needs to admit to it.

I just now looked on WATE and they did not even mention this story. So, in my mind, WBIR is just alittle faster with the news.

If he tells the police that she made him wear Wonder Woman underoos and a bozo wig and that got his "mad up", he just might get out of this with a couple of months in the nut house. Hey. It worked for Mary Winkler.

I think the circumstances were totally different in the Mary Winkler case. And if I'm not mistaken, it wasn't anywhere near Wonder Woman underoos and a Bozo wig that he made her wear. I feel for you bc you evidently have no compassion for someone who has been terrorized, belittled, or berated.

If they all knew he was such a bad guy, why did they wait until someone died before making an arrest? Why would he call 911 when this happened if he killed her, and a someone else says, he brags about missing women? Why would he call 911 if he had drugs and illegal weapons in his house? I know he is not innocent, but this don't add up.

there are things that alot of ppl.dont know, like him locking her in the house from the out side when he left,taking the phones and beating her is just a understatement of what really went on in that house/trailer. like not letting her be with her children,and when she did leave him,the (LAW)made it so when she got to see her children (BIG D) had to be there. and they knew or know of him/how he is,that was wrong,he is very intimadating. they say that he (BIG D) always said that if she ever left him, "I will kill you".
well she did. and now shes dead. so wrong..

nobody should comment on this matter unless you know for sure. as a friend we know she was belittled beaten terrorized last time we seen her he made her shave her head saying "she was trying to be pretty for other people" whether she did it or he did it god bless her soul for living through the hell she did on this earth and shes in a better place now.

You are right he always kept her locked up all thi time. Her kids loved her very much. Faye was always there for them. She had no other choice but to stay with "D". I havent seen either of them in about 2 months or more cause me and Daniel got into a arguement over Faye. Alot of people that knows D is scared of him. Although i was not i would get in his face he has pulled guns out on me and so has the people that have worked for him. I am not scared of him and never have been. He better hope that he goes to prison cause if i see him or Fayes daddy sees him he is a dead man!

I'm the cousin of "Big D." and was a good friend of fay's when we were in school.Ether if he or she did it I'm so sad for the "KID'S"

Tread lightly. If you ever kill him, this post could come to light and be used to show premeditation. If this is just harmless bluster, all well and good, but when seriously considering murder as an option, it is extremely unwise to talk about it ahead of time.

I would like to know if there has been a funeral planned yet & where to send Flowers. My thoughts are with the family.

So, everyone that knew them knew that he was horribly abusive, yet no one stepped in to help her. No one called the law. No one helped her and her children to a shelter. No one put her in their car and drove her as far away from him as possible. No one intervened at all?
