Nicky, did you go to Monroe High? I graduated from there in 65! Do we know each other??????
semper fi forever, I went to East High and graduated then too. But I knew Wease because he is Jewish, and we mwt at a wedding reception. But I could know you because I knew many people from Monroe. Oh yea, I talked to 3 Marines, 6 soliders (Army), and 1 sailor the other day at the VA clinic, and all 10 heard of the expression, "frosty", "stay frosty", 7 heard "salty" (the sailor and 2 soliders never heard it), and 9 heard "pop a top" (the sailor never heard it). So it looks like we are correct and those "so called veterans" are full of it.

Thanks, I knew I wasn't losing it, YET! Wease and I were in the same class, he's just the same as he was back then, a little grayer, and heavier, but then aren't we all. Later Marine.

Yea, I know what you mean. Those 10 veterans I talked to said they heard those "expressions" said many times, but weren't sure what branch started them, that is except for the Marines, they said it was started by the Marines. But I got them all arguing about pretty good.LOL Back to Wease, whether a person likes him or not, he has to be doing something right to have a huge following like he has. Sometimes I listen to his show, just to see how it is. It's not a bad show, I just don't agree on too many things he says. But that's both of our's right. It's hard to find fault with something that is successful. Later Marine!!!!

I listen to him when I'm in the car, he makes me laugh, and like you said, he must be doing something right, to stay on as long as he has. It cracks me up, to read, what some people say, about him,and it just reeks of jealousy! If they hate him that much, why are they listening to him. Just like Bob Lonsberry, I don't like the guy, so I don't listen to him, really simple. That's why those buttons are on your radio, so you can change the channel, but apparently, some people don't get that.
You take care Marine, and stay FROSTY!

You're right again. I'm pretty sure that the radio stations want to make as much money as possible, so they hire who they think will do that for them. If Wease was losing money for ANY station, he would be let go, very fast. People must be jealous of him or maybe don't like him because he's Jewish, but Jewish is a religion, not a country where a person is from. I don't know why most people think that Israel only has one religion. I don't think any country has only one religion.
You take care too, Marine. I have 2 appointments at the VA hospital this week, so that should be fun LOL. Stay Frosty too !!!!

Well, I'm not an Orthodox Jew either, but all of the lowlife scums on Topix blasted me for it. Being an Orthodox Jew takes alot of dedication and learning. There is so much to learn and remember, and I just never got into it. There are people of other religions who don't get into their religion. What does, "pour salt on my chocolate Frosty mean"? Do you mean a Wendy's Frosty??

Lots of older men do that, put salt in a draft beer, to make the head rise again.

Yea, I've heard of that, but you said something about a chocolate frosty. And I didn't know what that meant.

I can't use much salt either, but I do. I told my doctor, if I didn't die in Vietnam after what happened to me, I probably ain't never gonna' die. Besides, my father told me Marines never die.

Yes, my father is dead, ne died 9 years ago, but that's an expression that the Marines always say about not dying. I think God is keeping me alive because I am a nice guy.

Does any one know Alan Levin exact age and are there any Djs that old that are still on the radio any where in the country.Personally I would discourage any young person from entering this business as it is brutal and as every one knows from the vicious lay offs at Clear Channel that loyalty is non existent.

Imus in the morning is older than Wease. But what does how old he is have to do with anything? I think Wease is 65.

Exactly, he's sixty five, and Imus is 70, and slammer is 12, and a pedophile, and he flogs the bishop while looking at pictures of WEASE!!!!! How sad. You know, if he picked up the phone, and called the station, Wease would tell him how old he is!!!

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Sagittarius

You're feeling ultra optimistic today, which is great for summoning up the necessary energy to do what has to be done. But don't let it go to your head and convince you that you're capable of performing miracles. If you aren't behaving in this way you'll have to cope with someone who has a swollen head and thinks they're the cat's whiskers.
