Talk about denial--the daughter needs a mental health professional.

I have great compassion for his daughter and what she has to deal with. The things her dad has done is hard on a young girl and then add the loss of a mother as well is quite a load for her. This is not denial on her part, it is just she still has love for her parents. Probably 99% of every child who wasn't abused by a parent will love their parents even in situations like this. This in no way condones for her what he has done, but just shows she still loves the father she knew and who raised her.
I don't judge the child, just think that if he is proven to be found quilty, he should receive the death penalty for what he has done.

No, this is not denial... this man is this young girls father, the only one she has ever had & known and she loves him.
If he is in fact a serial killer of this many poor women (he) is not known like this to his daughter..... he wasnt known like this to all of his family & friends.
Have you ever heard of shock?
Do you not think this family & friends were in total shock by hearing any of this?
I'd say that (shock) had 75% leading to the poor mothers sudden death..... she could not bare the acceptance of this.
I cant imagine how this family must feel and any of the people who knew him...... the whole town is probably suffering from disbelief and shock.

I know I have certain family members who I could never believe could be a serial killer. This would be for most people who love a member of there family, the person worked hard, supported his faimly, was a good family man and now you were being told he was a serial killer. This would be very hard no matter what proof was there. Now, the victims family have to have some hope. No one want anyone in their family to be murdered and no one charged. Maybe they will get some kind of closure. Praying for both sides.

Yes she may need a psychiatrist, but only to help her deal with the confusion this undoubtedly cause for her.Anyone would have a proble excepting that their father is a serial killer.Even you onestop,Oh thats right you have no compassion for anyone God only knows you have never done anything wrong.

while I can symapathize with the young woman, and completely understand that "this isnt the father I knew" attitude, no where in anything I've read does she say he DIDNT do it, she simply says she never saw any indication of this behavior

this would be born out by the search results....his truck, his "private place" had the items in it, his home was entirely clean of such

the evidense to date points to exactly what is being presented a "double life" when he was free of the constraints of his family & home life, his control went with them and he acted out his repressed anger

possibly aimed at his wife & daughters and feeling trapped & repressed at home...no one knows but him

having said all this, it doesnt change the facts point directly to him being the killer AND his confession to the same with details never released to the public

in short it seems most likely he is guilty, and the daughter is partly in denial and partly devoted to her father, both of which should be understandable

given time & evidense, the denial will fade, the devotion may never stop

When I think of a serial killer I think of BTK, he fooled his family, his church, everyone knew him. He was also the loving father, devoted husband....NOT...He was A wolf in sheeps clothing. And a SERIAL KILLER.) This may be another case, if he is guilty. I cannot imagine what pain this man has caused, just think his daughter is also victim. He may have also fooled her. For his actions, She has too lost a loved one....her father, For the children, mothers, fathers, brothers & sisters of the murdered Victims I pray for them. And I hope justice will be done for all.

Something about rape, mutilation, and murder doesn't make me feel warm and fuzzy.

Perhaps you need help since you get a loving feeling from those acts.

I have an honest question for someone who knew him. Does this sketch look anything like him back in 98 . There was a double murder in missouri and an attack in Tn not to for away from the murders both were right off of interstates . The lady that was attacked in TN came up with this drawing and the attacker mentioned the name Jermey Taylor on blackbird road and said he was from Nashville. There was another murder in Greenville SC that also matched the dna of the first double murders . If anyone has any information please come forward the murders in MO were that of a mother and a 12 yr old daughter . The daughter had been sexualy asalted. http://www.amw.com/fugitives/case.cfm...

It's a busy day and you've got quite enough to do without having to cope with people clamoring for your attention and likely to go into a huff if they don't get it. Is this person feeling neglected because you're busily occupied elsewhere or are there other reasons for their demanding mood? Simply giving them a big hug could make all the difference to their behavior.
