I have first hand knowledge about some of their stories. Some of their stories have a little truth and most have a bunch of bs which is made up by their sources. They make no effort to check the validity of the 'informants' and generally the story is not spicy enough for them so they throw in a few made up quotes and lies of their own. More over, they tells these stories on people in our community without consequences because they are protected by only spreading lies on people who work for local and state government. For some reason you can lie about these people publicly, but private sector people you cannot. Oh, your foul language gives you away by the way. You almost had a decent, respectful comment....something you won't get if you read the Disliar err the Disclosure. lol

im curios somebody, i've been reading this paper for 3 years now and i don't remember seeing any stories about Granville IL. What community are u talking about? and how do u know first-hand knowledge? did you call and lie to them to see what they'd do? do you read all of it or are you like another idiot on another forum who just read one issue and basis everything on that one?

I for one like it because they helped my mom and we didn't WANT a story and they didn't do one. but they told the truth about brian shinkle on everything else he did like what he did to my mom. they've talked to me and my sister on the phone and have gave us good suggestions. they work pretty hard to verify things even stuff they wont write about like my mom. i think your way off base there. how do you know?

What is going on in Xenia? I know first hand knowledge because I was part of at least two story's they have ran and there are more falsehoods than truths. Some of there stories start out with factual information, but quickly turn into lies to juice it up. Then there are stories such as the White County SA's affair which never happened and was started by a person who was angry with the SA over pending cases. The person even called Webb to tell him about contacting the Disliar. They continue to slam the SA over this made-up affair. About the only thing they got right in that whole article was the date which his worker quit.
I could give more examples but I see no point. If you want to believe Howser, I mean noam, that is your choice. I will tell you this, they hurt people who have done nothing wrong and could care less if the information they receive is fact or fiction, as long as it slams someone who works for the government, excluding Mayor Kijonka off course.

whats going on in xenia is that we have 2 papers here in clay co that don't tell us ANYTHING. until the disclosure started covering us everybody knew what was going on but there was nothing written about it and people didn't know who the sex offneders were or anything. now all these rich creeps who get away with stuff DON'T. but best of all the truth is told about the person who wrecked oru mom's life in albion.

How much clear can I make it. I was at two of there stories and it did not happen like they told it. How can they be posting from Belvidere, I don't know. How can I be posting from Granville? I don't live their. It automatically puts that up when I post. I don't know your mom's situation and don't care to know. If they helped get your mom out of trouble then good for them. All I can say is the events which I personally know about which they are writing about are filled with lies and deceit and no attempt was made by them to actually speak with anybody involved....just took the statements from someone over the phone, now that is journalism at its best.

Because they will print more lies. I actually was sitting in the room with someone they spoke with over the phone who they quoted in their rag. His statements got twisted and there was one quote in the rag which was never said. You can't trust liars who make up stuff to set the record straight, they will print what sells.

alot of people in louisville are really greatful for what theyve done over there. disclosure i mean. nobody's compained about lies and stuff like you'v said. it sounds like a isolated incident to me...i really doubt it was intentional. it sounds like u were really hurt tho. both me and my sister have talked to these people and they are really desent...you should try. you at least deserve that.

No,I'm basing it on several stories that I have knowledge about. Every one of them has multiple lies and mis-information. But hey, maybe they do better investigating where you live. They can't seem to get correct information in White County. I'm glad everyone is not as corrupt as they paint them out to be. If I did not have the inside information that I do and read their paper, I would think this was a terrible place to live.

well the latest story i know got everybody all rile up here was about ERic Lewis...it was in the effingham paper but they didn't tell the whole thing, the bank over in town was involved and e'ham sort of skipped over that. Then there's the deal with Nikki Worthey the city clerk, she left and nobody would say why but the disclosure. also the mess with our states attorny and the girl whose running against her. And they told me up at needmore that theres going to be a story this time about all the sex offenders that live in the home there in louisveille and how they just run all over town and by the school, that's crazy.

So no it's not one story, theirs lots those are just the ones I can think of. also Greg Bright i almost forgot taht, even after he was convicted our two papers didn't write it, the disclosure people were there in the courtroom nad wrote aobut the whole thing everything that happened there. I don't think the other papers even went. when that story first happened is when I started reading it about 3 years ago.

maybe their getting bad information from people where you live? could be getting it on purpose, i mean from someobdy trying to get other ppl in trouble? i don't know about white county or how good or bad it is it seems to be about the same as everythign else, but I see Norris city is on the front page this month. Hard to believe they culd screw up so bad in one place and no another but u cant ever tell i guess.

Your last comment sums up my point here. You automatically believe whatever they are writing about Norris City, just like you probably believe the alledged affair with our SA in White County because it is typed and distributed on something that looks like a legitimate paper. And just because they go to court does not mean they are typing the facts. They quoted a sex offender in Carmi as blurting out something in court which never took place......but it sure did put some spice to the story they were telling. Oh well, happy reading.

well i kinda believe what was written about the norris city thing because it looks like every bit ofit was taken straight out of court papers. and it was on fairfield radio station pretty much the same way about a day after the papers were here.

yeh thats them. mimi looked into that when it happened they have a crazy ex sister in law who said they were interfiring with visitaion betw/his brother 9her husband) and her but they were court ordered to be there at visitation becasue she kept freaking on him (her hubsand). she took out an op and they fought it in court to help the brother to keep visitation. they won. They didn't have an attorny, they did it theirselves. Mimi said thats why they don't like john raglin because he was the attonrey they were up against even tho they won. We both wondered why they only wrote it ina colum and didnt write about it in the regular part but I guess because it wouldnt be interesting enuf, plus they were trying to help his brother and it might mess up his case, idk, that's just mine and mimi's thought on it.
