she should be. YOu know she had Dr Kohnle convinced that the maffia was big in Harlan and that the held her captive at times. I hope she is convicted of his murder.

She is NOT in prison and some of these rumors are so silly that you cant help but laugh your butt off. The mafia???Please! Anyway,she hasnt gone to trial yet. They tried to cut her a plea deal and she wouldnt take it. They seem to THINK that Doc killed himself,accidently. They were a family full of debt and to get out of it he sent her on her way out of town to set the house on fire to keep from losing it AND to collect the insurance money. When his body was discovered ONLY his hands & feet were burnt,as if he was using them and then dropped whatever he started the fire with,things went WRONG,things got out of hand and he died from the smoke. However,their not going to let Teresa go free because they think she KNEW his plan and played a roll in it. Its sad,especially for the kids. No father,and now their mother is facing prison. Im very familiar with the case and the family.

Do you know me? I am Jim's brother Brian. My mother has been in contact with Detectives since this happened and your facts are very wrong. Jim was in the shower when the fire was lit and his body was found naked. Why would he have started the fire naked? why would the shower have been running? The ceiling collapsed on him as he tried to run out of the house. she used an accelerant of gas and kerosene. there were traces of it on her clothing and her hands.
She fancied their handyman who didn't fancy her so she thought if she had the insurance money she might be a little more attractive even if she does look like Frankenstein.

Please don't try and insert yourself into something and claim you know facts when you do not. She is a loser pure and simple. Its mind blowing that she hasn't been to trial in over 2 years and isn't in jail even though she was arrested while on bail for drug possession. I mean seriously, where in the US other than Mayberry does someone get bail and have to live at the sheriff's house??? she is gulty guilty guilty. When a team of detectives say you're guilty, you are. period.

My brother was a fun loving decent person who woke up everyday with a good attitude and always told me to be positive. He had access to a trust fund that would have bailed him out of financial disaster only, but he wouldn't have had to resort to burning down a house to get insurance money. he was a very smart person who knows better than to try and do something so stupid. His wife on the other hand, not so smart and had far more motive than getting money to save their family. she needed the money and Jim gone so she could try and get the handy man interested.
