near abduction at prichard school!

I can say im not pleased with the school. They really don't like parent involvement and they keep everything hid as best as possible. I don't know much about this incident but I do know that a child ran out of the building and a parent that happened to be at the school ran after the kid got him and brought him back and know one in the school knew he left. I can't say I think much of the school and how its ran.. but teachers do not have an easy job.. they need help. And a good place to start would be parent volunteers.

There was almost another abduction in W.Va today. parents really take time and talk to your kids about getting into an automobile. The news did say they were two guys in a mini van and tried to pull a high school girl into the van. The news said to watch your kids,not to let them be alone at bus stops or walk alone. Even tho you dont live near there it's a good idea to talk to them and watch them until they catch these guys. The news said those guys would travel and are deperate to abduct some one - DONT LET IT BE YOUR KID! and hug your kid today...

What sick minded individual would take someon's elses kid and hold it captive? Not only the fact that it's sick and cruel, but they are eventually going to get caught. They ALL get caught. Sure their games are fun to them at the time, then they get to spend about 10 years in the pen. This may sound a little strange, but making your kids wear a gps while they're at school would be a good idea.

The responsibility comes from the PARENTS! Teach your kids not to talk to strangers. Teach them not to run out on class. Teach them to mind the teachers. And if they disobey, BUST THEIR ASS! I am tired of losing my rights because you dumbass parents can't make your kids mind!

communists believe that the government should take care of our money and tell us all where we can live and what we can own kids are kids and we as parents own them so if we want to gps our kids so be it.

after 3 near abductions in WV this week How does that make all the ppl including teachers at prichard that thought us parnets were over reacting????????? Something bad gonna happen to the kids of the parnets that are dumb and want to laugh all this off

How do I get those Police Officers names? I would like to check the 1st grader story out (not saying you are a liar but I would be niave to just believe ANYONE) and how would I find out about this last incident on Thursday?
I really believe that if stuff like this is happening that us as parents should be notified and if children are escaping your "locked building" I want to know so I can watch for my child!
Why would it be alright or more important for you to notify us that someone has lice and we should check our children's hair and watch for it ourselves but it's not alright for us to know that STRANGERS are getting around our children while they play and possibly working on them to become non strangers for later or that the school is NOT as locked down as they pretend?
Please, as a concerned parent, I want to know! As for "Teacher" and anyone else with your beliefs yes the informant may have spelt things wrong but that's not the point and I would think you would be able to realize that! The point is (if this is true) we should know and should have known long before now! I don't care how many misspellings are in something warning me of danger to my children, anyone, or anything else! How could your head be stuck that far up your butt?
I just want the truth! Just because we tell our children not to talk to strangers doesn't mean they will listen! Did you listen to everything your parents told you? That's what the teachers and other school officials are there to STOP! If we HAVE to send our children otherwise we go to jail and so on, then we should be able to rest assured that they are going to be returned the same way they were sent (maybe a little dirtier)!

Wow, after completing reading all the posts, I realize we have a lot of ignorant people out there and I'm not talking about the ones misspelling a word, two, or even their whole page; I'm talking about the ones calling other peoples children ugly, brats, and so on! Where do you get off? Just because you don't agree with something someone says doesn't give you the right to talk about their children! How big does that really make you feel? My children are BEAUTIFUL whether you believe it or not, whether you like it or not, or even whether you've met them or not! If you are mad at me, take it out on me NOT my children! How big do you really feel talking about others children? Seriously?
Were you always told you were a brat, ugly, fat, or so on? Is that why you think it's ok to do so?

I have a real abduction horror story for y'all.

Reedy Creek Middle School, Cary, NC.

A woman abducts a child from a mother she knows and hates. The next day the mother puts the school on red alert for her other child telling them, "I will pick her up at the end of the day. She is to go home with NO ONE else nor take the bus."

The next day the mother shows up to pick up her child, the child is gone.

Cameras reveal that the woman that was placed on high alert casually walked into the school during an ASSEMBLY, took the kid out, walked to the office and had the child forge her father's signature, and then casually left. No one greeted nor stopped them.

The police and media showed up. The principal lied to them and said, "it's already been resolved."

10 days passed and the child never returned to school. Neither child. The principal, Therman Flowers, who makes over $88k a year has not once contacted the mother to check in on the missing children. He's not once payed notice to their lack of attendance. His only concerns: His job and his paycheck.

We do, sadly, live in a world where a stranger isn't the threat. Our school officials are the threat. The lack of security in this school led to the abduction, and the principal's attitude has allowed it all to transpire with great success.

The man behind the abduction is the children's father. He divorced his wife and has on more than one occasion taken his kids from her. The principal, Flowers, has taken it upon himself to tell people from the police to the media that everything is okay.

The father has over 20 arrests on his record. He's a convicted felon. He's been arrested for dealing drugs near schools, aiding prostitution, carrying weapons, and many other heinous crimes.

Therman Flowers, our hero, is supporting this criminal and ignoring the suffering mother that has lost her children.
