I agree with you 100 percent! I get so sick and tired of having someone trying to drive up my tailpipe all the time! I used to love to drive years ago but not anymore with all the tailgaters. I routinely drive from 65 to 70 mph on the freeway; and it seems like some self-important jerk who believes that no one else on the planet matters but them is latching onto my bumper, even when I have someone ahead of ME! Guess I'm supposed to jump over the person in front of me or somethine? Have been hurt in several rear-end crashes caused by tailgating, and I'm sick of it.

I don't "brake for tail-gators" anymore. I stay in the right lane, do the speed limit and just take my foot off the gas if someone gets too close. Let them have the "OH SHIT!" moment with no advance warning. They usually get the message after the second one and back off or go around.

People need to drive safe, not careless. If you want to speed then pass people, they are proberly doing the speed limit and you want to tailgate them. I am one who drives the speed limit and people tailgate me, so I let them pass me and I hope they get a ticket for speeding. I don't want one.

From Zanesville to Pickerington on I-70 is outrageously dangerous. Speeders are out of control and tailgate people driving the speed limit continuously. No wonder there are so many accidents on this stretch of I-70 - it's getting as bad as the stretch thru Madison County.

Give those tailgaters a "brake check": maintaining your speed with your right foot on the accelerator, lightly lay your left foot on the brake pedal, just enough to make your brake lights come on --- watch the knee-jerk reaction in your rearview mirror; sometimes it is quite hilarious! A couple times and they get the message!!!
