Boy Scouts have 'can'-do attitude for food drive

You send a caring and loving Boy Scout out in the streets to ask for food for the less fortunate, it's a news story.

If you tax a Republican for the same cause, it's socialism.

There is always 1 ass in the crowd..
The boy are doing a great Job.
Leave Politics out of it. It has nothing to do with them.

The difference here is that participation in Scouting for Food is voluntary and is means for a local community to take care of it's own. Taxes and government aid, while well intentioned take away our ownership and insulate us from the hurt and needs in our community.
The continued dependance on Government social programs will not help us to care for each other and ourselves. This outsourcing of local needs to "Big Brother" must stop.
My thanks to all of the volunteers and youth who have made the Food Drive successful for more thank 20 years.
