Ok, I've kept my cool while reading all of the B.S. that has been posted back and forth between people fighting or arguing or whatever you want to call it. I'm tired of it now! Have you people forgot what this topic was about; MY DEAD AUNT WHO DIDN'T DESERVE TO DIE DAMN IT!!!! Can you all PLEASE have some respect and create another blog if you so wish to fight back and forth and express your opinions towards each other. I read all of the comments posted on this topic because some of the information shared might be of some use to me when I go to court in January, but lately, it has been all B.S. I respect the freedom of speech right, but please, I am asking you to do it somewhere else. This blog wouldn't have been created in the first place if Mr. Vandever wouldn't have drove drunk and killed my aunt. Just for all of your INFORMATION; my aunt's birthday is this Sunday. She would have been 47 years old!!! It's hard enough dealing with the fact that the individual who took her life away is STILL WALKING FREE thanks to the laws of New Mexico, and now my family has to visit her memorial site to celebrate her birthday instead of celebrating with her if she were still here. It won't be much of a celebration since there is nothing to be happy about, but we are going to try and honor her the best way we can. So, with all of that said, again, I am asking you people to PLEASE STOP ARGUING with each other on this blog. If you have any respect at all, then you will show it by moving your arguments to another blog. Besides, what do you get out of arguing anyways; it will never end. SOMEBODY always has to have the last word; need I say more... To all of you who still care about my aunt and my family; thank you for your support, it means a lot. Court is set for January 12th 2010 in Gallup; let's hope the judicial system does their job right and issues Mr. Vandever the sentence he deserves!

I do not know. Go to nm courts case lookup. type in last name first. I had problems at first cause I was spelling the last name wrong. It is hard to tell if it is the verdict or plea. I did not examine the page at all just skimmed through. The cases I posted were not the only ones I just could not get back in to that page.

The bottom line is this, if I had a dog who was rabid and biting everyone including myself and I called the animal shelter and they refused to do anything whose at fault? Not the dog the dog can not help himself at this point, not me I tried to have him stopped. It is the animal shelters responsibility.It is the state's responsibility to stop people like this drunk driver. Why then have cops and courts and jails?

I just hope the family gets this information just in case they do not know about these priors. I just stumbled upon this discussion in the Topix fourum. I have some business to tend to in Grants and checked to see if there was any news that would be of help in the Grants Topix.

What part of RESPECT dont you people understand? This should've ended @ GRIEVING IN NEVADA!

I tried courts lookup but couldnt get through to it. Man its just like someone beating someone behind a cage and no one stepping to help. I sure hope something goes your way considering that he is still out there. Thanks for the info.
