Class A, basically all schools in western Oklahoma and Texas panhandle have lost student population.
Mangum is now in district A-3 with Cordell, Hollis, Sayre, Walters, Apache, Carnegie, Burns Flat, Snyder and Hinton. Mangum is 2-2 thus far, scoring 124 points while allowing 100. |

Looks like Mangum will be runner up in the district. Who do you guys play next week?I think we have it in the bag but do play you guys in week 10. Who do you think will get the last 2 spots in this district?

How about those sore losers of mangum got beat by Hollis but were such sore losers after wards that they could'nt bring the team the mayors trophy and just left it at the end of the field for them to get after the game. What poor sportmanship from the coaches.

Exactly the mayors trophy has been passed to the winning team for along time and when the winning team wins they hand it to the winning team after the game whether they like it or not not leave it on the field for the team to pick it up as they go into the locker room. But what can you say that's mangum for you sore losers!

I agree with Hollis fan, Mangum shoulda gave the trophy like Hollis has done in the past, it's a shame when kids play their hardest and then get treated like this, nothing but poor judgment on mangun part

So what's next? If we beat them in basketball what are they going to do turn off the lights and lock the doors at the gym before we can get out.
