Yes i know the Sanders and Beasleys, My sister Kathy lived on Logan until a few years ago. My Grandparents had apts on Dewey between the hollaways and Sanders. I miss those days.

I think we all miss the days. Just a differant time,ya know.One brother still lives in G.C.,but the rest of us are pretty much scattered out.

The apartments were in a building right next to the tavern. Yes she was good to the kids. She always made sure we had the best lemonade stands by giving us chips and candy from the bar to sell at our stands. Haven't been there in the tavern since she passed but I'm sure it's changed. My mom actually played music out there and I would get my bands to play there on occasion. I always had fun when she was there.

Here's one that someone can respond if they know. I had a cousin David Mathis that lived in K.P. He was maybe a year older than me and I was born in 51. I hadn't seen him since probably '66 but heard he got killed in a some sort of a drug connected situation, so I am told. Probably around 1999 or 2000. Anyone know the truth of the matter and what the circumstances were? Never could find out anything on the internet. Thanks.
