Has anyone tried the liquid amino diet? It is similar to the HCG diet ..but more calories...1000 vs. 500.. Wanted to see if anyone has had any luck with it!!

No, I haven't heard of that. I did start the homeopathic version of the drops/500 calorie diet (purchased at Costco for approx.$30) last Monday and as of this morning, exactly 10 days in, had lost 13.4 lbs. It is crazy to step on the scale every day and see another pound gone. The materials that came with this one suggests additional calories if you're not comfortable with 500. I think my intake probably ranges between 500 & 100. The drops taste nasty but they do work as an appetite suppressant and the weight loss is well worth the unpleasantness of the taste.:) You might want to give them a try.

Congrats! Hang in there as the sugar cravings definitely go away. I even picked up Reese's Peanut Butter cups for the guys here yesterday (my all time fav candy) and did not for a second even consider eating one. I think it took maybe 10 days for the cravings to stop but they are Gone and now, as of this morning, I was down 20.4 pounds, and it will be 3 weeks tomorrow since I started. It's pretty easy to keep going with results like these. I feel SO much better than I did 20 pounds ago, too. I have a new "spring in my step" and am loving it. I hope you continue to do well and I'm sure you will.:) LMAO wrote: yes 4 pounds in 5 days.. but i wont lie ..its hard giving up the sugars....i havent had a soda since last Sunday and its killing me ...but i will survive.. thanks for asking!! <quoted text>

Avoid processed food. Eat clean. Fresh meat or beans in small quantities, fresh vegetables, fresh fruit. Stop eating Taco Bell, and KFC, and Golden Corral, etc. Eat only home cooked starches..potatoes, rice, oatmeal etc. If you must eat bread, make it yourself. Store bought bread is processed. Calories in have to equal calories out. 20 minutes a day or more exercise. Drink water..a lot. And above all..stop worrying about how you look. You can eat an entire block of lard every day and it won't have nearly the same negative health affect. Hope this helps.

Thank you - that Is helpful. I'd never thought about the home made bread being healthier than store bought but I'm sure you're right. Maybe home made bread can be a special occasional treat when I get to the maintenance stage. Thanks again.:) Blackanchors wrote: Avoid processed food. Eat clean. Ok i admit getting me going in the morning is difficult. Would a 5hr energy affect the results much? It doesn't have much in the calories or sugar dept. It wakes me up and livens me up. Will that work with the diet?

I did the diet earlier this year to get ready for a cruise. I only had 11 days on it but I lost 13 pounds. Worked great for me. I need to get back on it and lose the remaining weight I gained when enjoying the cruise. Brett
