2. The sentence mentioned above states that the vehicle is/was unrecognizable, however later on in the same paragraph...make/model stated. Hmmmm.

3. Collided with the bottom of ....there must be a better way to convey that thought.

4. But the best one....."was killed the woman."

I completely agree! I work with her father and their family is absolutely devastated, and you are worried about spelling and grammar. You obviously have never lost someone close to you. By worrying about the most irrelevant aspects of this story you show you have a heart of ice. Show some compassion,and if you don't have any go find some! Loser!

Proof reading means catching BEFORE you send it dumbass.

I am a relative of Heide. It really angers me to think you people are sitting there reading about the death of one of my family members, and all you have to say are comments about sentence structure.

All this energy could be spent doing something good or worthwhile in this young woman's name or helping support her family in their time of grief.

This is part of a larger area along Il Rt. 3 where people have a hard time driving right. My car was totaled in an accident three years ago; a driver fell asleep at the wheel and rear-ended me, the witness reckoned that auto was still going 50mph+ when he hit me as I was waiting for a red light to change to green. One has to be on their toes at this place. Now, if I get it right, this driver was going southbound, right?? Not many people, especially newbies (this one had Indiana plates), don't understand how fast a car can move the last seven-tenths /mile before one approaches the intersection of I-270/Il Rt. 3. The straightaway fools a lot of drivers into thinking they are going at a safe speed when they are actually going too fast for conditions. Now, I did not get the time this accident occured, so I'd be guessing here. If the driver was intoxicated, this reveals much as to why this accident occurred; again, my case involved one who fell asleep at the wheel. Oh, one thing I'd like to pass along, the Illinois State Police is patrolling the Interstates for speeders, they appear to be very successful ticketing sppeders on I-55 from STL to Springfield and beyond. This has been going for at least a week, and I have reason to believe this will last the month. Hey, folks, just drive sensibly, that ought to be safe enough, you also won't get tickets and higher premiums that put a dent in your budget.

Heidi was my cousin by marriage, those of you who critique the grammer in this story are pathetic. We just lost a member of our family, a baby boy just lost his mother and a husband lost his WIFE. Have some decency or at least some common sense.

I absolutely agree. A friend of mine has just lost her older sister and is devastated. Those idiots who are judging the grammar and spelling really should do something better with their time. You make me literally sick to my stomach. You obviously haven't lost anyone close to you. Get a brain and have a freaking heart.

Although its been a while since i have seen them ,my heart is breaking for the family.I have known Heidi since she was a little girl.She was in my daughters wedding.I babysat for Jessica when she was a toddler.I know how close Lynn and her daughters were. Please instead of being critical about things that are not important,take a minute and pray for this broken family,and then take another minute and pray that something so tragic would not happen to your family.

Well it looks like the friends and family of this poor wife, mother, daughter, friend were able to shut up FLASURFER64! What a d-bag. Hey buddy..there is a great place called Seal Island in S Africa...get a one way ticket and go surf there with the great whites. And when we read about how you devoured by a shark we will be glad to critique the story in your honor. Only difference is you won't have family or friends posting messages because you sound like such a loser that I doubt anyoone would realize you were gone. Accidents like this one are so tragic.
