Search Underway for Missing Granite City Girl - KTVI

Were are the parents? Why is this CHILD walking around at9pm, I just don't understand.

The girl was 13, maybe she was walking home from a friend's? What gets me is the 7 year old in Florida or the 9 year old in Missouri walking home without a parent...at 13 you think they will be safe walking short distances.

7, 9, 13, 16, 21, 30, 45.....Doesn't matter the age, shouldn't be walking alone after dark! Hell, maybe even in daylight. Most are grabbed in the daylight. There are just as many missing older women as there are young kids these days. The girl from the concert, still missing. The lady that was out walking/jogging about 4 months ago, on the phone with her boyfriend and gets abducted, still missing. So, as long as I'm alive, my daughter will always have a ride.

so they found the girl? So was she abducted or was just out? and if she was abducted who did it and what for? i live in the trailer court across from where she lives i just heard of it. i myself have 2 daughters and one thing for sure first id bust her ass for being out that late. second id make the person who abducted her if she was/ wish they were never born. do to them excactly what they had planned on doing to her and i mean excactly the same!!!!!!!

First of all I would like to thank everyone who came out for all the endless hours helping us find her. Second, what happen was she went to a friend's house and their where several teens their and had a pizza party. This was around 715pm on sunday. Abby has never not been home by 9pm or called to say where she was. So, at 930 I started to get worried and went to all her friends houses that where at the same pizza party and that live around my home. They all told us that she should be home that she left the party at 830pm. Everyone else was home and we spoke to their parents. At this point it was 10-1030 and I really thought at this point something is totally not right. I called the police and they went back to the same friends houses that we had been to and searched some of their homes and found nothing. Around 1am Monday they called in special investigators to start searching the fields and lake near our home because it just didn't all add up. To make along story shorter one of Abby's friends had hide her under her bed all night and lied to the police and the special investigators that she had been there or that she had scene her. She was recovered around 8am on monday morning. their were arrests made and i hope all these teens have learned a lesson from this. Meanwhile you cant be with your children 24/7!!! I have five children and go to school full time and you just cant be up their butts all the time all that does is push them farther away from you! She has a curfew and she knows that she better be in by that time or else!

I work with the kids in Granite and messing with my kids is the easiest way to make me do something that will put me in jail.
