My heart goes out to the whole family... such a hard thing to deal with! the aunt was taking care of the baby cuz the parents didnt want him then 3 weks ago decided to take him from her he was being very wel taken care of i dont understand y the parents just didnt leave him with her and she was the one whom tryed to save him and give him cpr she is such a mes right now

Very sad funeral today. Grandmothers both trying to be strong for kids. Baby was sleeping on couch and rolled over onto stomach. Accidental suffocation is cause of death. Both parents were sleeping nearby. This could happen to anyone at anytime. Stop throwing stones. The guilt over the loss of this child is making both of them very ill. They both will be entering drug rehab. Wish them both the best of luck as well as the strength to do this and move on.

I'm happy to hear they are entering rehab,they need it. i hope that this is a wake up call because i know for a fact that ashton and emily were neglected.i believe donnie and heather have the power to be good parents if they can leave the drugs alone. your children should come first on your list of priorities...to know that ashton has died hurts me so much. i wish the best of recovery for this family..i know god is taking good care of him.

This is a tragedy however, the families of this infant do not need everyone dogging them. If drugs played a major factor in this case it will come out. your children should be first priority and if any of the family members knew this, they should have intervened and to the person who made the comment that everyone in GC is on drug, live on welfare and is a hoosier, you obviously dont know what your talking about. I live in gc and am not a fkn drug head u p.o.s

The news is reporting that relatives of the family had suspicions that the infant was being neglected/and or abused. Why in the hell didnt they step up and intervene???
If you ask me, they are just as much to blame as the parents.
