Obama doesn't want the Congress to investigate Ft. Hood massacre, and at the same time he is giving KSM a platform in NYC to spew his hatred and crazed ideals to the world during the trial 9/11 terrorists.

It will be a rallying cry for all terrorists.

Something doesn't add up here.

I dont understand why they need to bring these terrorists to NYC for their trial.

Because BO knows the evidence that will be turned up will fuel the anti-PC movement as well as prove once again that banning guns only results in disarming law-abiding people. I'm sure he's also hoping that time will cause the attention over Hasan being a Muslim terrorist to die down. That does seem to be his modus operandi involving the war on terrorism.

I think Obama wants Congress to stand down for now because many of our Congressmen (Hoekstra) want to use this incident for political campaigning and take the opportunity for grandstanding.

There are enough investigatory agencies involved already without adding the congressional morons into the mix, Demogods and Repugs alike.

But it's okay for his administration to "never let a catastrophe go to waste" according to Rahm "Deadfish" Emmanuel as they use an economic meltdown, two wars, and the swine flu to grandstand about why we need to turn all control over to the government.
