I changed the pic to the stairs and the closet under the steps. It's the main staircase and also the original from the 1800's. It's a long staircase and the rail way at the top is low and doesn't seem that sturdy. I hope they do something about it before they think about having any kids. Could be very dangerous.
I'll take pic's of the other staircase next time. It's nothing exciting just a small staircase between two walls that the servants and the ghost's traveled.
Tomorrow's pic will be a real treat. I'll show you El Hefe.

They don't sell fried pickles for appetizers there?
I've had them cut in spears or sliced. I like the sliced better...

For some reason I thought the door under the stairs was a small door.

OK I'm ready for more pictures.
Can you post one of the basement too?

Good Morning All
Wow I must need to get out more. I never had fried pickles or green tomatoes. I have had grits and okra and didn't care for either one.
Anyone like Pasta Fasoli ( macaroni and beans)?
Is that like Chilli Mac?

I've only made the pickles a couple of times. The recipe I used is rom an old cookbook I have (around here somewhere) when I find it I'll let you know.
There is a restaurant here that makes the best fried pickles-
much better than mine.

Liz,
I watched the show last night. I didn't know the killer had used the little brother's gun.
I feel so bad for the Dad.
He had asked them to not give his son death because he already lost his whole family.
poor man

P.S
I don't like the narrator's voice on that show. She sounds so sweet
and for some reason that makes it even more creepy!

I know I felt bad for the Dad too. I thought the court should have honored his request since the victims were his family members.

Can you see the door under the stairs?

We don't get a lot of meanness here, just a few strays every once in awhile.
I'm getting all excited to see Dallas tonight.

No, we don't have hideaway pizza but I love anything spicy and I'm crazy about fried mushrooms. Now you have me craving some.

Two weeks of over 100 degrees? What then a tornado? Girl you need to move. You get it all the crazy weather there.

No, I've never seen friend pickles sold as appetizers here.

The door is full size but once you walk back under where the stairs are there's a little door. That's the one that's nailed shut.
next time I go I'll send Zach down to take some basement pic's. Next I'll put up the chickens and then the downstairs. Note the strange shelves and closets in each room.

Yeah, I can see the door.
I'm glad they let the ghost out of there.

The kid didn't even NEED the money..from the sound of it,his dad would have given him anything.
It kind of reminds me of the Mark Hacking case.
