"For those who missed it, Glenn Beck left his radio program early yesterday, saying he felt ill. Filling in on his TV show, Judge Andrew Napolitano announced Beck has a case of appendicitis. The Left reacted with its usual reaction: glee and bloodlust. A few of left-wing headlines shout:

*“Glenn Beck Sadly Escapes Death After His Appendix Conveniently Fails Him”;
*“Glenn Beck’s Heroic Appendix Attempts To Kill Him“

The latter story reads:

Glenn Beck suffered an appendicitis attack on-air today.

It was during his radio program, so sadly there is no video of Glenn clutching his abdomen, vomiting, and finally collapsing in pain.

Beck is expected to make a full recovery, after his appendix was removed at “an undisclosed hospital.”

“Glenn Beck’s Appendix Makes A Break For It“:

This morning, during his radio show, Glenn Beck suffered a mutiny staged by the only internal organ he has that exhibits any signs of intelligence…

And the caring folks at Democratic Underground wrote such sentiments as:

*“I hope he f-cking dies“;
*“Pain, Infection, Life Support…First“;
*“May he soon be at peace…Very soon“; and
* Numerous variants of “I hope it burst.”

It’s par for the course for the politcal hacks who alternately lecture conservatives about the all-important virtue of civility, lie about conservative incivility, and dream of the day they can bring back duels."

It's sick to me. Absolutely sick. No matter how much I disagree with even David Alexrod, Keith Olberman et al. I cannot imagine cheering for the death of a fellow human being. No matter their political beliefs or affiliation there are family and friends that care each and every individual out there. To cheer for their deaths? It's wrong on so many levels.

Oh Ms Angie. I do so agree with you. There is no excuse for behaving in such a manner, I don't care how much you dislike that person. Like you said, everyone has someone out there that loves and cares about them. It is wrong.

I saw the headline on Huff and didn't care to read it. I thought he would survive unless he comes down w/ H1N1 at the same time.

Sick? Of course! But predictable. This type of callous, low-class garbage has been a part of progressive status quo for years. If I were an independent I'd be looking pretty hard at the examples being set by the progressives and asking if that's the set of values I want to support.

What amazes me is the small group of libs here on Topix who absolutely refuse to get out of lock-step with the rest of the Lemmings and just continue to spew forth with preprogramed rhetoric that defies all common sense and common decency and then they wonder why no one takes anything they post seriously.

Wishing bad things on Glenn Beck does not indicate the sympathetic traits at all....you would be foaming at the mouth if someone from the right was treating Olbermann or Maddow with such a cavalier thought process! If you did not read the story, why in the world are you commenting? Of course, not that you care one whit, but the man could have died from a burst appendix. My Mother darn near did on a trip home from Hawaii one time. She spent a month in the hospital in Chicago recovering from the peritonitis. Smooth move Bubbly, hope you are really proud of yourself. If you are the face of the left, it's a really good thing I left that party, because I sure would hate to have the total lack of compassion that you have just exhibited.

Once again, I didn't read the story - because I could care less about Glenn Beck's health. I am commenting - on this forum, because it - says the Left cheered. I am responding, as expected.

It's not so much a "cheer," it's more of a - Who gives a crap?
