The only thing ObaMao wants to cut spending on is our national defense? Having served in Desert Storm in 90', I would be appalled to call this man my CIC. ObaMao must be forked in the middle.

<quoted text> There is no name or labeling in that post....whats up?....BTW, i mentioned this previously, CBS Nightly News had a segment, several months ago, about a slow resurgence of companies returning or locating to Detroit.....tax breaks, bargain priced empty factories and warehouses, eager workforce in place....Detroit is not the worst option, anymore....

Well Mark, talking about eager work forces.....seems members of Congress, knowing most Americans would like to dump them all, hope to regain some sense of honor, by subjecting themselves to tougher penalties for insider trading and requiring that they disclose any stock transactions, within 30 days.......i know i brought this up before, and nobody seemed to care about it, but in a bipartisn way, we can weed out some of the improper acts that have made many rich at the taxpayers expense. Insider trading laws apply to all Americans, but CBS's 60 Minutes in November, said members of Congress get a pass, citing investment transactions by party leaders and a committee chairman in business about to be affected by pending legislation. A procedural vote today would allow the Senate later this week to pass a bill prohibiting members of Congress from using or tipping off others to insider information......can't wait to see where this go's..........

Wow, that was such a pivot, I almost got whiplash..

You go from talking about an eager workforce in Detroit to congressman insider trading? I believe we all agree with you that this is the ultimate hypocrisy as far as investing is concerned, but don't look for Reid to do anything, unless they have already figured a way around it. But I'm at a loss with how you went from one to the other...Must mean you don't even believe that Detroit isn't the worst option...

Seems it passed the initial vote, yesterday....93-2....wonder who the terrible two were? How would you like that on your voting record, for the rest of time? As far as Detroit making a comeback, only time will tell, but i can see, alot of the markers lining up like that....call it the swing of life's pendalum.....

Daily Horoscope for June 3

Virgo

Life catches you unawares today but for once you don't really mind. A friend is likely to ring up with an exciting suggestion or you could receive a spur of the moment invitation that's too good to refuse. An interesting encounter is also on the cards, especially when you're brought together through unusual circumstances.
