We are supposed to have rain/snow this morning changing to all rain this afternoon with an 80% chance of rain and an east wind of 5-10 mph and a high of about 41. You enjoy your friday too, Gail, as you complete your chores at both places. At least you will, except for travel between home and the veterans home, be warm and dry. Have a great day.

It's about 41 degrees here in Holland with light rain. The rain is later supposed to turn to snow as the wind picks up to 25-40 mph from the west. Today's high is supposed to be about 46 this morning and then dropping. The old year went out like a lamb and the new one is coming in like a lion! Happy new year to you too, Gail. This would be a good day to spend indoors and warm!

The forecast calls for us to get 1-2 inches of snow (60% chance) with fairly steady temperatures and wnw winds of 10-20 mph. Good morning, Gail. It is important to stay out of trouble, as difficult as that is but it is hard as some trouble is so much fun lol. Have a good day.

It's about 34 degrees here in Holland where we have cloudy skies and the wind is calm. It will be cloudy today with a mix of rain and snow, reaching a high of about 39 with nne winds at 10-15 mph. We are under a winter storm warning.

The forecast calls for a high of about 52 today with light rain this morning and cloudy skies thus afternoon. Winds are supposed to be from the se at 25-35 mph, shifting to the sw at about 10-15 mph. Chance of rain 50%.

I definitely know what you are saying about straight line winds. The last tornado my area has seen was in the 50s but we have had similar damage from straight line winds quite a few times. As for ice, we haven't had much of that but we also haven't come anywhere near our usual snow accumulation. Have a great weekend.

We should reach about 79 degrees today as it becomes partly cloudy with some scattered thunderstorms building in this afternoon (30% chance of rain). Winds today should be from the south at about 10-20 mph
