That is correct... When I lived and worked in that region I saw it first hand.

Funny thing is, take the IPhone for example, many of the components are actually manufactured in the US and then shipped to China for assembly...

Saw a report about this chinese girl, making 80 cents an hour to assemble Apple phones....they showed her one, as she had never been shown one, completely assembled.....she could never afford one, anyway.....

I think I might have seen the same thing.
She also works close to 20 hours per day, and sleeps in the factory.

China already has a deal with Canada to buy the oil sands.
I say, let China, Japan, and the other countries that want it, pay for an oil pipeline through Canada.
We dont need this environmental hazard crossing though our country just because the people of Canada dont want it going through their country.

Yeah, i think alot of them live and work at the factories.....you know, we went thru alot of the same bullsh*t with Japan, many years ago. How did we not learn anything from it? And, even if we could get everyone to really reduce buying chinese, it would'nt work, because there would be no alternative american products......
