In the end, he did find a place to turn. By the way he was found, it appears he turned to the only one who would take him.

It is a shame that this happened, however this guy made his own bed. 2nd degree CSC is not, as Lets See pointed out, just peeing in public. Also keep in mind that the CSC charge was years ago-the crimes weren't reported as they are now, and it wasn't as common for something like taking a leak in public to land you on the registry. He did much worse than that. He was a child molester. But you people blaming the "rich" and the state: please, go ahead and invite people like that into your home. Just do your kids a favor and never let him leave your sight. Myself, I'll sleep ok knowing that my kids are safe.

First of all, I can not believe what this world has turn. I pray to God asking him to forgive you unkind individuals and that one day you NEVER fall down on your luck.
Yes, this man did an awful crime which he was convicted of and served his time. I'm sure that this was something he had to live with for the rest of his life.
I being a victim of sexual assault and having a child WOULD take this man into my home for a meal, shower, and place to sleep. I'm not saying that I would let him watch my child.
I also cannot believe the shelters. I know a male who was convicted on 2 counts of CCS and was paroled to the Guiding Light Mission. So, I am a bit confused with their regulations.

I almost froze to death when I was 16 (back in 1980), having passed out in the snow after a kegger. I woke up in the dark and hobbled towards home (my feet were frozen stiff, as was one hand).

Some guy in a pickup truck saw me, at 4am, and offered me a ride. God bless that dude, because I wouldn't have lasted the rest of the walk. I wound up with 2nd degree frostbite & lost some skin, but here I am. I guess I know what real cold feels like.

This shouldn't be happening... no person should freeze to death when there are so many that have more then they could need or use in their life time.

One less Chester the Molester to worry about. :-)

Your comment is not accurate. Urinating in public does not land you on the S.O.R. because your intent was not to expose yourself. HOWEVER, if you are caught 3 times, you are then subject to being on the list. Pauli was on the list for another offense. You also can not live within 1000 feet of school PROPERTY, not just the school; during the active school year or not. There are a few exceptions to this rule, but again Mr. Pauli was not one of them. If they let people on the registry violate the law and stay there, and that person goes out and re-offends, THEY are going to be held liable for not following the law.

Look... they rehab abandoned offices and factories into Housing Projects of one sort or another for the poor. Rehab one into an Open Barracks for the Homeless.
