What burglar would break into a home take nothing of value kill the mother while sh is still in bed asleep? Go only threw her purse and scatter all the contents of her purse on the floo and not go through any other drawers or take anything? The burglar felt comfortable enough to wrap jennifers body up so not to leave a mess any place else take Abby and putthem in her van go dump them at his work place and then take the van back and put the keys back in her room someone who felt comfortable in the home and knew no one would ever be the wiser. Micheal went to work after all that and made all those calls home. He called home making all those phone calls knowing she would not pick up all those fake messages sounding like the husband of the year yeah right guilty as charged.

I have posted my thoughts on this case a few times.I have watched the 48 hours special and read both books. There is one thing that I keep thinking of in the hood Daddy killer it states that he had a computer set up in a spare room by Abbys room and he did watch porn in that room also.He told the investigator that the stains on the floor right there under the computer desk would be positive for his seamen. I am starting to think the reason why he killed both wife and daughter is Jennifer was going to leave him and I am starting to wonder if he was molesting his daughter. The more I read and research I honestly think he was molesting his daughter otherwise I don't think he would have killed Abby.

I have a hard time letting this case go out of my mind. I have read both books and watched the 48 hrs episode probably watched this about 20 times on my I pad. I have the 48 hrs app so I can watch all these episodes any time I want. I keep thinking back to the trial with the letters she wrote to her husband. All those love letters stating she would not want to be with anybody else. That is the evidence that Micheals mo says proves he is innocent. I used to write beautiful letters to my ex husband people today would probably say the same thing like don't these letters prove they loved each other. Well I loved my ex husband so much thought he was perfect same thing we were always at church I could not believe how wonderful he was until I found out he was the biggest cheaters that ever walked the earth. I stayed as long as I could because I believed in my vows then my preacher said it was fine to divorce because he broke the marriage covenant. I am sure Jennifer loved him all that much until she caught him looking at porn. She probably tried but finally gave up on her marriage because he could not give up on the porn. If she left and exposed him people would look at him differently. His image was everything to him and she was not going to ruin his life so he killed her.I believe he is right where he is supposed to be.

just saw the show wrote: Ill just say that i sure hope i never have to go to court and rely on a jury of my peers...after watching that show and seeing that verdict....no way...you shouldnt be found guilty unless there is evidence PROVING BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT...that you are guilty....and that was not proven...everything was heresay.....if the public wants you guilty....if the cops want you guilty because they have NO HARD EVIDENCE.....they will find u guilty....sad sad story..... I read. Both books all the research I could. A one hour show can't show you all the evidence do some research guilty I agree with the jurors who heard all he evidence in a long trial not just watching a one hour special.

Laura wrote: I agree only God, victims, and person who did this know all the details. The biggest thing that keeps going through my mind is the innocent little girl. The next thing is in most cases I've watched there is usually some reasoning behind the crime whether it be logical or not. This case for Mr. Blagg to commit these crimes really doesn't make sense. I mean everything to lose nothing to gain. There is no money, girlfriend, freedom, and for a religious man knowing God is Ever Loving and Forgiving will still give last and final judgement. It really doesn't fit. You seem quite naive. Of COURSE this happens, and all the time! What about the British guy, Neil something, who shot his wife and baby girl in Massachusetts, then claimed that they were missing? They were both actually under bedcovers in the bedroom upstairs, shot with his father-in-law's gun. She was about to find out that he was in over his head, financially, and he disn't want her to find out. He flew to England and his parents' house, where this country had to extradite him. A rational, decent human being will never be able to relate or understand why or how people can do such monstrous, unspeakable things to supposed loved ones, but it is a cold, hard fact.

ever have a wife with a medical problem? If not, don't judge. If your wife killed herself and the child-what would you do with the body?

Wow, ya saw it on TV! That makes it the gospel? and I bet ya never been to Grand Junction. Excellent Police and Sheriff offices. They went through every piece of trash in an 80 acre land fill. So sorry we couldn't find the baby girl. But all the little things brought him to justice. How ya'll can judge someone via a tv show blows my mind. Peace

Having known Mike while he was in college, and what he went through in his first marriage, this has been hard to believe. He was a peaceful young man. Guilty or not I have little doubt that this is a huge loss for his parents, his wife's family and precisely, himself. Very sad thing it is.

Henry wrote: After watching the case on CourTv, I have to say the verdict did not seem logical. A man with no reason to kill his wife and to lose his child? Also, when the court showed fales informaiton was put into the trial, such as the "porn" sites that were later found to be a false entrance of evidance, sounds like 1 of 2 things: 1) it was a set up case. 2) the police made a mistake and did not known how to cover it up. When the evidance of porn showed to be false, it should have shown the case right there to be a fraud and more investigation should be administered. Too many times innocent people are placed in jail/prison because the police do not want to take the time to investigate the crime in detail. I wish someone would check into reports of the DA covering up the Blagg story by keeping Abby"s body hidden so he can keep his position in the community. If you live here you would know what im talking about. My heart goes out to the Blagg family

I laugh at anyone who says this man is not guilty because they couldn't find the weapon or his daughter's body. Wow. It sounds like some people just want him and others like him to get away with murder. And the motive? Easy. He was tired of being married to his wife and he was incapable of love or even empathy for another being. I have always felt that he had to kill his daughter, because she either knew he murdered her mother by seeing him do it, or she somehow saw him taking out mommy's body. There is true evil in this world, and a lot of it pretends to be religious or hides behind religion. I thank god that there are some good people in this world who go into law enforcement and don't let the evil get away with their deeds. We can't catch all of them, but we can get some.

I've seen this story on TV a couple of times and a few things strick me as odd, however circumstantial. First off, this guy is a bad actor and comes off as very creepy during the show interviews...very, VERY insincere. And, those 3 orso phone calls to his wife the day he discovered her body...who are we kidding? NOBODY talks like that to their spouse on an average day, when there was nothing to suspect. Those calls sounded like they were scripted by people who write for those "family pseudo-sitcom-commedy-dramas " that find a nook at 7pm and stay on the air forever dispite poorly written scripts and acting, and appeal to shallow people with questionable intellect. You know the type... "Who's the Boss", "Saved by the Bell", "Sex in the City"... Mediocre at best, discuised as Art! This guy could have written for these shows, and people actually find the story and his act plausibe. It's not against the law to be a bad actor, but for God's Sake, don't speak for yourself when accused of murder! EWW! ...HE DID IT!

I just saw this on 48 Hours and this guy is guilty as sin! Just from the affidavit alone where he says he wants to tell the truth and ask about the different types of murder and the penalties, that alone shows he guilty! Open and shut case....

Another thing pointing to his guilt was (like someone here pointed out) why was he calling home to speak to his wife AND daughter all day when his daughter was supposed to be in school and he didn't find out she didn't go to school until he got home from work? He's guilty, clear as day.

His phone messages on the day of their "disappearnce" were so phoney! He was trying to set up an alibi! No one calls their wife and say hello "Georgeous" after so many years of marriage, they may say can you pick up my laundry or soemthing to that effect. He is an idiot!!! Also, how many times in one week did he call his home to "check" and make sure they were having a good time. What a bunch of bull from this killer.

What truly amazes me is when people will watch a one hour TV show (actually 40 minutes; don't forget the 20 minutes of commercials!) and think they have all the facts to make a judgement. I mean, really? C'mon people...don't be that lazy. When I watch something that intrigues me, I then look up all the references I can find. It's called RESEARCH. It's what you do when you want enough facts to make a clear judgement. Don't you realize the media is biased? If they want you to appear not guilty, they show only the facts that will support their opinion. And the same is true if they want you to appear guilty. There's a name for you people who are too lazy to research and depend on TV for all your info. You are SHEEPLE. If you think he's not guilty because "I saw the TV show" then you are ignorant and lazy. Not because you think he's innocent but because you got all your facts from TV. People who are posting those comments here obviously have a computer and access to the Internet. USE IT to research ALL the facts before you opine on his guilt or innocence. If you still think he's not guilty...well you're still wrong but at least you don't sound like an idiot. Misguided and blind maybe, but at least not a sheeple. "I saw it on TV so it must be true." DUH!
