well at least it wasn't another sex charge. I was so tired of reading about teacher-student sex incidents. drives me nuts!

Too bad the prior battery charges were dropped. I think a prior conviction of battery elevates the second arrest of battery to a felony III. I'm no lawyer, but I do have experience ! He has no right to ask his wife to leave...he needed to do what I did, walk in with a cop friend to watch his back and then tell her to expect some papers to come in the mail. These might be false charges who knows. Don't believe everything you read, not even on a police report.

I used to be a teacher in Lake County until I moved out of state. I really thought that you would lose your position if you were convicted of DUI. Teachers are required to report that type of thing to the board.

When I was a kid all the music teachers were gay caballero's, today they're all frustrated could-a-been rock stars__betcha a nickel that the guy has a weekend bar band which explains the booze and the wife's rage.

Given his record.....I don't quite understand why he was still employed with the school board.

Why was the coach at South Lake High School allowed to remain coaching and teaching after he assaulted the coach from East Ridge at the beginning of the football season? By doing this it sent a message that this type behavior is acceptable. Is could be validated by the bench clearing brawl that happened at the end of the season that put his team on probation and cost Tax Payers over $8,000. I guess if this guy was a coach he would not have been removed.

The band teacher's conduct is very disappointing. My sympathies are for the band studends who will end up with a substitute for the remainder of the year. They will be unable to participate in important activities such as Solo Ensemble and MPA without a director.

Mr.Bailey was arrested in July 08 for the same charges plus a DUI.He did 29 weeks of a BIP class that obviously did not help. His wife has been married 6 times with several of her exhusbands ending up with the same rap. I'm not saying Mr.Bailey is innocent by any means, but this is just a prime example that maybe people should take the time to get to know who they are marrying.If he can't control himself I don't think he should be around our teenagers that are looking to him to help with their normal pressures of high school and just being a teen.

Mr.Bailey is very well liked by his students.He should have known better.By the time this is over,he should realize there is a problem with someone that has been married 6 times before.He did exactley what she wanted so he would end up in jail.When it involves women,white men are the dumbest animals on this planet.
