Greg - a proposition for you: please give us all a holiday gift re: computers/printers/refunds. You have mentioned in the past and I have seen with my own purchases that computer warranties and esp. refunds are hard to get honored. Those of us who don't have you on the case wonder what we can do?? I have wasted money over the years on computers and peripherals and would like to stop the madness.
Please - tell us the secret...

"I'm 80, and this is a hardship for me"
No, It's not! A hardship is not knowing where your next meal is coming from. Your situation requires you to do your due diligence, not whine about your age. Everyone gets help in Greg's column, but seniors seem to think they get everything because of their advanced age.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm 32, and there are plenty of things that are a hardship to me...but I never try to blame them on my age. That's just ridiculous.

You have a strong urge to get to the bottom of any mystery that you're currently faced with, whether it involves a personal relationship, a hunch about what's happening or a financial situation. What's more, you won't be satisfied until you've completely solved the puzzle. However, you'll only arouse bad feeling if you pry into things that are none of your business, so beware!
