Two Clarkston women killed after police chase

I just found out about this yesterday. I dated Julie when she lived in Midland for a good 3 or 4 years on and off. At one point i thought Christian was my son. If anybody knows where to find the whole story on what happened please let me know at XFile505@yahoo.com I've been trying to get into contact with her for years and did not know anything about this. This sucks and i'm deeply saddened by this. Julie was one of my favorite people and even though i haven't talked to her in years she's going to be missed by me for the rest of my life.

I can't find the article of the accident. BUT! If drinking and driving was involved that is sad. BUT when you drink and drive there is a price to pay. And if they were trying to out run the police. THEY WERE WRONG. They were wrong to drink and drive and they were wrong to try and out run the police. It's sad. VERY sad. And I know their family and friends are going to miss them and so are their little children. BUT YOU DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE AND YOU DON'T TRY AND OUT RUN THE POLICE . For you people who think what they did was ok? YOU need to get a life...and if you truly believe what you say about everyone else being wrong (MADD).... then you must be those same people who think you can get away with something...and you must be out there also drinking and driving. Those two young women were not thing of their actions were going to do to people, themselves, their friends....their family and their children. They did do wrong and they had to pay the price. But!!!!! they could have killed someone YOU loved because of their actions and then what would you have said....THINK ABOUT IT. REALLY THINK ABOUT IT.

Have some class and leave a positive memory of these woman without the "rough" language -- you do their memory no justice by responding in such an insulting.

Katie was such an amazing person that I refused to believe this to be true. She is dearly missed.

Although I did not know Julie, my heart goes out to her family as well.

Well Debbie...I am Katie's mother and you need not to reply. I blame the friends she was with because if indeed they were friends they would not have let them drive at all!!!! I still don't know all of what happened that fatal morning and you need not judge. I can't even try to explain to you how I feel. May this never happened to anyone you love. Katie's mom I am sorry for your loss. However your daughter is to blame to pass blame on to her friends is ridicolous. She was the one who choose to get behind the wheel. Obviously her friends were imapired I am sure too and obviously also was not thinknig of the consquences.

It's time people stop passing the blame and accept the fact that those ladies chose to get in the car, drove drunk and then tried to out run the police.

you believe what you want. Until you have walked in my shoes you will NEVER know how it feels. You will NEVER know what YOU would do or how YOU will react. I hope You never have to go through this. Besides you only know the story that you have read. You don't know the truth of what really happened.
